I followed Dr Nelson to Ames from her former place of employment because I trust her and appreciate her approach to care. She is thorough, explains options, and listens well. She did a revision of a bunion surgery I'd had 20 years ago a couple of years ago. Recently, she performed a tendon repair and decompression of a nerve in my ankle after we'd tried conservative approaches first. I'm now pain free and sleeping well which I'd hoped for. Dr Nelson is one of the best doctors I’ve ever seen. She took the time to not only listen, but understand the impact my foot/ankle pain had on my life. She was able to help after other doctors told me I was out of options. She and her office staff made me feel truly cared about. This office is an asset to have in Ames.
