“When I moved to Hilo in the Fall of 2025, I was searching for a body worker who could help me with balance issues. I was 80 years old, recovering from a total knee replacement, walked with a cane and in constant pain. I didn’t actually “walk” - it was more a “shuffle” as fear of falling was terrifying.

I did my research on local practitioners and licensed Medical Massage Therapists , and called NIU Hawai’i and scheduled an appointment for their Premium Collaborative Restoration with Kaʻānohiokalā Peʻa.

The in-home office was professional and Kaʻānohi was very welcoming. He explained the treatment as it progressed. When I left his office 3 hours later, I had regained my balance and was walking unassisted without pain. I consider him my Miracle Worker and am now on treatment #5 and my body is in better shape than it was 10 years ago.“

“Dr. Klein and Dr. Kim are both excellent and very skilled at making adjustments. You might need more than one visit for them to do all adjustments, but that’s OK considering they are in network and it is not expensive. Highly recommend.“
