The coconut body butter was purchased for me in Hawaii, and it’s the most authentically smelling coconut lotion I’ve ever smelled. I ran out, so I bought another container of it from the website. It may seem expensive because there are so many low priced lotions you can buy nowadays, but I’m telling you this smells insanely good. I contemplated buying the passionfruit one but didn’t want to spend the money, because what if I didn’t like it? I had never been in Ola. I walked in and was greeted by a friendly woman who showed me the different products. The establishment gives you a relaxing feeling because it's so serene and fragrant! Ola is also a spa with a full menu of offerings. I decided right then and there that I wanted to treat myself to a 30 minute massage and I am so elated that I did! Atsuko, the owner of the massage business massaged all the kinks in my neck and shoulders that I felt like I was floating on a cloud! She is a very skilled masseuse!! I am very appreciative of my experience there at Ola Tropical Apothecary & Spa. #SupportLocal

I booked through their online service for a head to toe 90 minute. Atsuka was great! I filled out a questionnaire and then chose the scents I wanted applied. I asked for medium pressure and told her my back and shoulders were tight. The pressure was just right. I did fall asleep, but the foot scrub, hand scrub and scalp felt great. I would definitely book again when I return to Hilo and get a longer massage to work out those tight parts. Relaxing atmosphere and great masseuse.
