198 Ponahawai St, Hilo“Adele's ability to intuitively tap into your neuromuscular system and CNS is enough to make her one of the best massage therapists, period. She has helped to heal more than just my injuries as a strength athlete; she has helped me calm my overactive nervous system more times than I can count. She has had me feeling like I could breathe deeply without fear clinging onto my tendons and fibers. Adele has been an integral part of my wellness routine in both mind and body as someone who is neurodivergent (ADHD). If you need help unmasking injuries and dysfunction in your body, she is the best of the best and WILL find the issue with a curious and kind hand. She has helped my healing process and guided my muscles back to functionality from my head to my toes (including reinjured sites). If you need help with emotional/nervous system regulation, she is still the best of the best. Every session is a reset; I couldn't recommend her more. ♡“

71 Banyan Dr # 115, Hilo“Banyan Massage Hale offers the best massages and bodywork on the island. I've gone to many places throughout the island in the last 5 years and this is the place that I always want to come back to.
Booking is easy and convenient and can be done over the phone or online.
The setting is private and peaceful and all of their therapists are amazing. I've worked with Anne and Melissa for Ashiatsu and Lomilomi(both attentive and amazing), Jarica for acupuncture and cupping, and have been working with Victoria since June. Victoria is also an esthetician who offers a beautiful blend of deep tissue, ashiatsu, Thai massage, and gives amazing face massages. I'm looking forward to my appointment this afternoon and can't recommend this place enough!“

101 Aupuni St #246, Hilo“We got the best massage from Zander. He did massage for my husband and myself, one after another. He's so knowledgable about body, muscles and focussed on areas that were problematic. He spent time explaning issues and what he's doing. Overall the experience, ambience and his service was just the best: he's such a compassionate person, full of healing energy. He went out of the way after he found out that it was our last day in Hilo, not just he spent extra time on us, he also shared lot of videos so we can continue the healin at home by practicing good postures and techniques. Highly recommend him, he's just the best?? Aloha & Mahalo Z??“

She uses various techniques ranging from deep tissue to Thai massage tailored to your body’s specific needs that day. I’ve come in to her studio with shoulder, neck, and lower back pain & have left feeling like I’m floating on a cloud. 10/10 would recommended. Mahalo Blaize!“

282 Ululani St Suite 2B, Hilo“This was my first time getting a massage, and I was feeling pretty apprehensive. I'm used to my muscle tightness going away on its own, but when my neck pain wouldn’t let up, a friend recommended Nancy. Nancy was able to fit me in within two days, and her warm, inviting nature immediately put me at ease. I booked a 60-minute medical massage focused on the pain in my neck and shoulder. Her experience was clear in every movement. When asked, she was able to tell me exactly which muscle group she was targeting and why. The results were almost immediate—my pain went from a 7 down to a 2. I highly recommend.“

546 Kapiolani St #3939, Hilo“I went from the advice of two friends and my husband, and boy, am I glad I listened! I had acupuncture for the 1st time, and a massage and adjustment. It was really soothing and it worked like magic! I was a little sore the next day, so I rested, but next day, I could tell from my home workout, that I didn’t “click” like I had, and I felt stronger and “back to normal”. What a gift. I am so pleased with Robbie’s work and want to tell the world! What a fabulous thing to feel so good after one session.“

15-1782 16th Ave, Keaau“Acupuncture, like most other voodoo (phrase coined by the uneducated white man), is all about the practitioner. Sometimes you'll hear "acupuncture doesn't work for me" - which really means, "the acupuncturist didn't work for me." If you've had less than stellar experiences, visit Alex at Hawaiian Integrative. Alex is a healer. Being in the man's presence is enough for most - his aura heals too. With needles, however, the healing powers of this shaman are amplified exponentially. Give the man one session, he'll make you a believer. Give him 10, and you'll become an evangelist. There's something really special going on at Hawaiian Integrative.“

“Feeling fortunate to have connected with Ka’anohiokala and NIU Hawai’i. My partner searched and scheduled a massage when I was having serious pain and difficulty sleeping. Ka’anohi’s sense of touch and listening to the response both spoken and unspoken are very well honed.
I’m about two days out from the massage and still enjoying improved sleep and less pain in the base of my neck and my hips where he worked most. Even if you don’t have a major issue I would suggest a session with Ka’anohi just to recalibrate and learn more about your own patterns of holding or tension.
His background as a third generation massage therapist is clear in his approach, understanding, and technique. Looking forward to the next session at NIU Hawai’i~“
