“Super friendly customer service. It was easy to call in an appointment and online scheduling is also an option. The space is nice and bright. Smells nice and super chill vibe. There is a waiting area for coffee, tea or water. Also, a place to take a selfie on their selfie wall. Pricing is competitive. Shai was super nice and welcoming. My son likes his haircut and enjoyed his "chairapy". He said he will definitely come back here. We have recently moved to Kailua and was looking for our local hair salon for our family and we have found it! Looking forward to future cuts, coloring and chairapy at The Cutting Zone! FYI -- no private parking for salon but street parking and lot parking are accessible. Just make sure you have some change. Cheaper to park in the lots vs street.“

“I've spent a lot of time (years..) trying to find a hairstylist that I truly LOVE and I'm so thankful to have met Julia. The Foundry is a cute boutique salon in Kailua. It's paid parking, so bring your quarters. Although you have to pay for parking, please know that it's cheap and very close to the salon. Enter the parking structure through Aulike Street. You can book online and Julia is very responsive on ig and text. She's helped me make the best choices. Let her know what you're going for and if you have any special occasions coming up (example: wedding).“

“This Salon is a special place. They make you both look and feel beautiful from the inside and out. I had a massage which helped get rid of my lower back pain I’ve dealt with since my pregnancy. I had a facial which helped my skin tremendously and it was so luxurious. Then Peggy helped me with my hair. She’s absolutely amazing and she’s very talented with her work. I had brain surgery with a huge incision in the front of my head which she helped cover by re-shaping my hair into something more beautiful, you can’t even see the incision or bald spots from the surgery . Coming here was a blessing for me because I needed that sort of “pick me up” mentally and physically . Even speaking with everyone and the general positive every that is at this salon- it was very healing for me. I highly recommend this place. I’m so grateful for these ladies <3“

“The staff is amazing. I wish I could remember the woman’s name who helped me. I work nearby and had my bike stolen from right in front of Ulta (someone cut the lock) and I was in a total panic, came in crying asking if their video camera caught anything. She checked but it wasn’t pointing at the right bike rack.Luckily I found my bike and got it back with the help of HPD. The next day I went to work and locked my bike up (with even stronger locks of course) and noticed they had changed the angle of one of their cameras to point right at the bikes! Just so thoughtful and sweet and they obviously wanted to be able to help if that ever happened again. I don’t wear makeup or do much beauty stuff but I’ll be in there getting some shampoo or nail polish or something because they deserve my business. Thank you guys for caring!“
