best salon experience ever. the owner and workers work very hard to provide a relaxing and professional environment. to the one who is forcing a false narrative in the reviews trying to paint the people who work here as rude, ignorant, and “racist”, you could not be more wrong. it’s saddening to see the level of stupidity you will go, in order to receive a free treatment which is what you got after you were hysterically yelling about something that the owner and worker were actively trying to fix but you REFUSED. you should be embarrassed because you know the truth, as someone who was also in the salon when you were “traumatized”. do better.
I had such a great experience here. The Vibe is welcoming, friendly and somewhere that everybody knows your name. I felt really cared for and listened to. I loved it so much I decided to become a member so that I can get my roots retouched every month with no hassle at a set price. I also got a haircut with long layers and lots of movement. I'm really, really happy I found Ulupono.
After over 20 years of having my haired pulled back in a bun and clip, Aunty JoAnnie did a fantabulous job in consulting, perming and styling my thinning hair! Mahalo to Aunty Sandra and owner, Carly, too. Aloha overflows in this place! Moreover, I received compliments from friends and family who can be the honestly critical at times. Mahalo nui loa. I love my "new look"! I definitely recommend this place!
