“As a new patient I felt I had a very thorough exam from the preliminary tests with Dylan to Dr. Bossert who explains everything she is doing and shows you diagrams as well your own results. Clare is also very helpful and welcoming at the front desk and answered all my questions and gave me all the documentation I needed. I also loved the selections of glasses in their optometry area and Rachel helped me find a perfect pair of prescription sunglasses. I am very pleased that I found them!“

“Requested a next day appointment on their website. It was confirmed the next morning around 830-9am my appt was at 1030am. I went in and didnt have to wait long. Dr Saito was nice and explained everything with a few suggestions and the ladies at the front were very nice. Will be returning for further care.“

“My wife and I have been seeing Dr. Portis for over 20 years and have always been impressed and very happy with our care. He performed my wife's LASIK with great results, and he just replaced my cataracts with Toric lenses and the Femtosecond laser, with fantastic results.I was more terrified than the average person I suppose and ready to travel ANYWHERE to have cataract surgery if it meant lessening the risk of complications, though some of the people around him (and other MD's) convinced me he'd be a great choice. But mostly it was my appraisal of him: cautious, ethical, conscientious, and very smart--which won me over. He was also willing to take a lot of time to explain the different options and the procedure, as well as fully appraising my eyes.I wanted to go to someone with experience and who does a fair number of cataract surgeries too--not a factory, but enough to be really good at it, which is what I felt most comfortable with. But still, even though it's a low-risk proposition, it's still scary!Highly recommend. (His assistants are all great as well.)“

“We completed our routine eye examinations with our opthalmologist who gave my husband a new prescription for his eye wear. Amazingly, his vision has improved, well, slightly improved since his last prescription just two years ago and he also wanted to update his eyeglasses style. Fortunately, we recently received a promotional flyer for 50% discount of lenses with purchase of new frames and decided to check out the inventory at this LensCrafters location. Unlike the main store of LensCrafters in the Ala Moana Center, we found this Macy's site to be cozier, less busy and offering more personalized attention. We met with Christopher, one of the two friendly and experienced sales representatives, who assisted my husband in finding a frame to fit his face shape and personality. Afterall, getting the proper fit and style for eye wear is not only for function but can be looked at as fashion or style accessory. While my husband browsed the displays, Christopher showed him several frame colors and styles from different designers as well as the latest arrivals. It didn't take too much time before my husband spotted a frame style and color that he wanted and would be comfortable with. Chris held onto the prescription while measuring and fitting the frames and lenses on my husband's face. Once Christopher completed the fitting, he processed the transaction and then cleaned my husband's current glasses and replaced the nose pads. Chris even took the time to adjust my non-prescription sunglasses, which were "out of whack" because I had stupidly thrown them into my purse without the case, and it got jangled and bent with its contents. So, now, we're waiting to pick up my husband's new eyeglasses, and we're thankful for Chris' friendly professionalism and expertise.“

“All staff members were personable, professional, & informative. Parking in the building's lot is horrible; will not try it again! I was fine without the elevator working for my first appt. but am concerned about the days of my surgical procedures & follow up appts.“

He goes above and beyond to help me with my glaucoma, my scratch pupils, insurance, and everything else I've gone through all these years with my eyes. He seems to have every piece of equipment to run every kind of test. All and all, a great experience.“

“I was vacationing in Honolulu and had forgot to pack the right prescription contact lenses. I called around and reached out to Callie and Tiffany at Eyecare Associates of Hawaii. I was able to email my prescription to them and within minutes they told me they could provide me a few sample daily contact lenses for me for free!! I cannot say how outstanding their customer service was. I wish I lived here so I could go to them as my optometrist. Thank you so much!“

“I've been getting my glasses here for years. Dr. Cho is great, takes time to explain and answer questions. Wide selection of frames and sunglasses. Lens made in-house, saves time. Reasonably priced although some designer frames are more.“

“I went there first thing on a Saturday morning after stepping on my glasses which were a very complex brand. The optician was able to fix my glasses and actually made them fit better, and she also refused any payment because she didn't want to guarantee that she would fix them. They are an amazing and incredibly professional group. Highly recommended.“
