First time as a new patient there after researching for optometrist I decided to try Kato and Shoji at Manoa because parking was easy to find and after looking at reviews thought they were good. Small office but staff was friendly and professional and appointment times were available that fits my schedule. Met Dr. Kato who I thought was not very talkative but very thorough with examination and professional in his conduct.

Very thoughrough eye exam...great staff, great service and had a wonderful experience getting contacts. Ordered contacts and they gave me a rebate for a 50$ reward. Pretty sweet. The doctor even recommended eye contact solution to help with eye protein buildup on contacts. It really helps!! If your looking for a great optometrist go and see this business, they are totally worth it.

They are so amazing! I landed in Honolulu on vacation and complexity left ALL of my contact lenses at home. I stopped in at Kato+Shoji and showed them my prescription and gave me a box of sample lenses to get me through the week free of charge!!! They were so amazing and the customer service is above and beyond!!! Thank you
