I was lucky to have Aki wait on me when I walked in to just browse. Love Tom Ford frames and they had a good selection. Looked at other frame brands but decided a Tom Ford frame . Aki is an asset to this shop. She gave me the right amount of attention and freedom to look around and I felt she knew her "stuff" whenever I had questions. Thank you, Aki!
Happy Memorial Day! I visited The Eye Gallery at Ala Moana today, hoping to get my prescription glasses fixed. My playful dog had chewed on them two days ago, leaving them in pieces. I was very worried because I rely on these glasses for work, and I had to use a pair of reading glasses from Longs in the meantime. I feared I might have to spend almost a thousand dollars on a new pair since my glasses are Silhouettes, which are not cheap. When I walked into the store, I explained my situation to Damian Walker, the store manager. I felt like I needed a miracle to get my glasses fixed. I handed him the three broken pieces and hoped for the best. While he helped another customer, he asked me to look around or take a seat. To my surprise, it didn't take long before Damian came back and told me my glasses had been broken into several pieces. I felt a bit sad, but when he brought them out, they were back in one piece! He had fixed them! I was extremely happy. Damian adjusted my glasses, and they were back to normal. I could see clearly again, and all my worries disappeared. Damian Walker is a wonderful, helpful, and pleasant person. Despite the time it took to adjust my glasses, he remained kind and patient. He truly is an angel in disguise. And he even fixed my glasses for free! Thanks Damian!!!
I'm from California and my glasses broke literally about an hour after I got off the plane. Was staying in Kapolei, but drove into town to find a place that could fix them or I'd be screwed for the rest of my trip. Didn't want to go to the mall, but thought it was worth a try. Went to Eye Gallery, and the gentleman there fixed my glasses for me free of charge even though I did not buy my glasses from there. He saved my life for the next week! Would totally recommend to everyone!
