I've been going to this little barber shop for 8 or 9 years now. Tina, sole proprietor, is very friendly and greets you with a smile. She always cuts my hair the way I like it ...I don't even have to tell her how to cut it, fast about 15 mins. She works almost everyday so stop by if you need a haircut.

Everything that I read about this place was correct. We got there at 9am with no wait. Visiting from Maui and needed a quick haircut. Rates are $18 but you can't go wrong. I'm not one for idle chit chat so she was perfect. All business. I was done in under 10 min. I'll def be back when on Oahu

I live in Kaimuki. Been here three years. I used to get haircuts at a barber near my neighborhood, but whenever the salon would hire a new barber and I got “stuck” with them I would pay the price. Living with a bad haircut for two months until it was time to go back again. After several bad experiences it was time to find a new barbershop.I read the reviews for 8th avenue barbershop.. “fast and cheap,” I decided to try it out.
