My favorite barber retired. But he left the shop in good hands. What used to be Mel's Barber is now Vicki's. Still a great place for a haircut. Kin is very experienced, meticulous and efficient. What's not to like?

Mel is an extremely friendly and professional barber. His shop is very clean and bright. I recommend calling and making an appointment. He will take the time to be sure that he understands what you're looking for, and then delivers the haircut you have in mind. For $19, it is a reasonable value and a pleasant experience.

Friendly environment for an immaculate haircut. Make an appointment a few days in advance because he's usually booked up. Not really located on 12th Ave, but on the Ewa side of the public parking lot between 12th and Koko Head, Harding and Mahina. Parking lot gets busy during lunchtime. Otherwise, no problem parking.
