“I went to see Laura Lynn for a curly cut on 3/8 and had the MOST amazing and positive time I have ever experienced from a salon. Her attention to detail, care and tips were incredible. “Breaking news! This salon is incredibly clean, organized, polished and smells amazing since the Aveda product line is used. I surprised my mom for her 60th birthday with a fresh haircut. Her stylist, Laura did a thorough consultation and made excellent recommendations. My mom said she felt so relaxed and almost fell asleep while her scalp was being massaged and hair conditioned. Laura was extremely down to earth, sweet and educated my mom on the best techniques to give herself a proper blowout. Laura has been styling hair for over 20 years, primarily on the east coast and now Hilo is lucky to have her style and grace. Overall my mom and family love her new haircut and she's become more confident. Thank you, Laura! My mom will absolutely return for her hair trims. “
“I got a great cut, color, blow dry/curl style from Keiko at Hilo Style. She is sweet and a delight to talk to and very talented. Everyone wore masks including the clients. I was met by a receptionist who was probably also the manager. There were 3 stylists including Keiko with clients all busy and happy. The salon was very professionally managed. I had to call 4 salons to find Hilo Style. I was getting no answer or voice messages and when I called Hilo Style, they actually answered the phone. They are located in the Kino'ole Plaza. There is no sign outside but if you park and go inside you will easily find them. A wonderful experience at a reasonable price.“

“A great little beauty salon in a residential area that needs more services close by. Carol is a professional with a long history of providing hair services. I got a cut & perm, and she was super fast. With the Covid19 pandemic, there was only one customer allowed in the shop at a time and masks were mandatory. Carol provided great service and I'm very happy with the results, and her price was very reasonable and a great value. I would recommend this business to anyone, and I plan to return again regularly.“

“I went to get a manicure and pedicure on March 1st 2024 and I absolutely LOVE the results from Gigi! She did a wonderful job on my manicure! White is my favorite color and I chose the stiletto style nails and Gigi nailed it, literally lol! The staff were super friendly and the salon was very clean and sanitized after every client!
