Breaking news! This salon is incredibly clean, organized, polished and smells amazing since the Aveda product line is used. I surprised my mom for her 60th birthday with a fresh haircut. Her stylist, Laura did a thorough consultation and made excellent recommendations. My mom said she felt so relaxed and almost fell asleep while her scalp was being massaged and hair conditioned. Laura was extremely down to earth, sweet and educated my mom on the best techniques to give herself a proper blowout. I feel so blessed and grateful to have been guided to this wonderful Salon! I moved from Kona to the Hilo side after 15 years and synchronicity guided me to Headline News!! Laura is a hair color specialist, trained by the very best Aveda hair stylists in Los Angeles. She "got" what I needed after 2 years of "Covid" hair, grey, dull and depleted. I didn't expect such a professional and perfect outcome, I feel renewed and am extremely pleased. Highly recommended!!!

They carry Aveda products so you can bring home the experience. Convenient parking for a down town location. The fun and positive energy here will have you floating on air when you're finished. It's the smart wonderful folks who run the shop that I am most grateful for. At Headline News you find the best products, the nicest people, bohemian decor, good music and great vibes.
