““It was HEAVEN”I was referred to Jimmy by a good friend. She told me “He talks a lot during session, but you’ll never get a better massage.”Knowing this, I went in and had a 90-minute massage. The ambiance was lovely and it was a comfortable space. And we talked. A lot. But Jimmy is so fun and interesting, it was like spending time with an old friend. The laughter was equally therapeutic to the massage.I have been getting professional massages since the 80’s. When I left Jimmy’s, I realized that every other massage I’d had, had been “formulaic” (up and down one side, flip and do the same.)Jimmy was so different. He READ MY BODY and I had my first really THERAPEUTIC MASSAGE! It was heaven!What surprised me was that, when I left I was ENERGIZED! (I’m used to feeling like a bowl of Jello after.)Jimmy is very knowledgeable and found troubled parts I didn’t even know I had!I have already scheduled my next visit and will be a regular, for sure!“

“Strongly recommend Dr. Karpus, a highly capable and knowledgeable wizard of physical therapy who has also studied great many other healing arts and techniques, east and west, from which he can pick and incorporate in his work as needed (e.g., thai massage, needling, and others). He has helped me with an elbow injury both in physical treatment and in advice. He is also a very honest professional and told me early on during the second session that he suggests that for my particular elbow injury i better take rest for a few weeks than schedule a third appointment with him, or that if i still want to do some active rehab work he suggests i see a professional specialized on hand and arm which he suggested to refer me to, or a certain chiropractor working in the same building. Yet the work he did on my elbow in those two sessions was really strong and focused - he really cared, which meant a lot - and the price, was the most affordable and fair i have ever seen from a physical therapist.“
