“I want to say how much I appreciate all the efforts by North Georgia Equipment Company in solving our recent air conditioning problems at the Silver Creek Pharmacy. It was a desperate situation and NGE as usual exceeded expectations.

I want to give specific appreciation to Jared Witt for his quick response to the failure of our Bard Exterior Wall Mount unit. He identified the failure of the fan and began the process of dealing with it. Thanks to Rylan Robinson who helped Jared in the re-installation the fan and motor assembly of the compressor, allowing the fastest possible return to operation and continuing normal levels of performance of the unit.

I want to thank Jay Palmer for his amazing temporary conversion of what had been the fan-cooled compressor coil into a water-cooled coil using a common oscillating lawn sprinkler. The Bard unit was able to perform normally in nearly 100-degree heat for two full days providing critical time for a new fan to arrive and be installed.

Nick, I rely totally on you for all decisions regarding HVAC. You advised me on how we might supplement the HVAC situation at the pharmacy with what we finally selected, the new Mitsubishi MUZ-GX36NL 3-ton unit. My trust in you is always well-placed.
I want to thank John Hall and Jake Jones for installing the new Mitsubishi. They did a great job and were very enjoyable to work with over the two days that it took to complete the installation.

I have dealt with many NGE employees in both outside services and with the office staff over the years, and I can say I have never had a bad experience or been disappointed in any way. That is very reassuring and highly unusual.

That is why I have been a customer of NGE since July 3, 2006.

“On 1/6/25 service tech diagnosed problem said “parts under warranty, office will call “ NO CALL
I called office on 10/13/25 to ask when to expect service tech.
Was told “parts weren’t ordered, hadn’t received authorization yet, would order tomorrow as today was a holiday and couldn’t ship on holiday “
I made phone calls during the week to inquire about parts . On Friday 1/17/25 ALL call’s went to voice mail.
On 10/20/25 technician installed parts.
I was charged both for initial service call and installation, my experience has always been that diagnosis is included in installation cost. If parts were in van at time of diagnosis would there still be a separate charge for service call and installation cost of part?
No apologies from office for delay in installation. I had no A/C or heat for 2 weeks, I needed both.“

“We’ve owned our home about a year now and it has a twenty year old HVAC system and I worry that it will go out on us unexpectedly at any time. Well, Tuesday night we woke up to a freezing house in the middle of the night (50 degrees!) with the HVAC system completely shut down. I don’t know anything about HVAC systems but a friend recommended Doug Mather of Mather Mechanical Services. I called and expected to be placed on a service list with a day or two delay (with this cold weather a lot of people need service!) but Doug said he understood and would be able to shift some technician’s assignments. A couple of hours later (same day) a service van arrived with two technicians assigned to the job. After I explained what was happening (and not happening) the service technicians (Garrett and Johnathan) started troubleshooting. After about ten minutes they had a good idea of the problem (clogged evaporator pump and drain lines). Apparently, since the system wasn’t draining properly the system shut itself off to prevent further damage. After cleaning out the pump and flushing the lines the system started working again. However, they didn’t stop there, they connected various testers and hoses to the system started evaluating the complete system. While they worked I asked a lot of questions (since I don’t know anything about an HVAC system) and they very patiently answered my questions and explained everything. I feel much better about my HVAC system now after watching them work and having them explain everything. It heats the house up now better than it ever did! The service I received was the best, the technicians were very helpful, knowledgeable and patient and Doug clearly worked with me on getting same day service. The price for the service call and the expendable materials they used to clean out the system was very reasonable and fair. Bottom line: Doug Mather and his staff are good people who clearly understand their customers needs, they go the extra mile to deliver a quality product and services, they know their jobs and they do it very well! I trust Mather Mechanical Services to work on my home and I trust they are going to be thorough and fair! I will call on them in a few months the do a spring cleaning and service!“
