“I cannot adequately express how thankful I am for Dr. Ellis & team for offering integrative options like acupuncture and alternative medical management for his suspected IVDD - AND keeping practivcality and his quality of life top of mind. He is a very happy, alert, and active dog, so it's been challenging and heartbreaking to watch his mobility suddenly decline. This team has spent way more time and energy with us than was expected/required to get to the root cause of the problem and manage his pain on a personalized level. They've also gone above and beyond discussing options, alternative therapies and going the extra mile to manage his condition with a variety of modalities. I can't thank them enough for their patience, expertise, research, open minded and personalized approach to his care plan. You all rock! Your compassion and open minded approach is much welcomed and needed in the community and will serve you and the pets who depend on you well. Grateful to have you here and on Tasers healthcare team!“

“My 1-yr old Shichon needed immediate care on a Saturday. Being new to the area, I hadn't secured a new veterinarian yet, so I went to see Dr. Jeff on blind intuition. It was the BEST choice I could have ever made! My little Teddy has found his new doctor, and I couldn't be happier. The level of care was fantastic and I will definitely be back!“

“Easy to get in and out off, very clean in the waiting area and exam room. Answered all of my questions and were attentive to my fur baby. Appeared short staffed and a little frazzled as a result.“

“I went to Companion Animal Hospital a few years ago when I still lived in Athens. I originally changed vets because during covid, Companion was one of the only ones I could find that let me go back there for the exam with my very anxious dog. I went in for a typical wellness exam where she also got a few vaccines. As we were on our way out of the building, my dog started vomiting and getting very lethargic. I immediately went back into the building with her where the whole team there, led by Dr. Weaver, jumped into quick action. It turns out she had a very extreme anaphylactic reaction to the vaccine. Dr. Weaver did an INCREDIBLE job. While it was touch and go there for awhile, she ended up saving my sweet girls' life. Dr. Weaver knew the importance of my dog's bond with me, and even before my dog was entirely stable, she let me come to the back area and start talking to her, which they noticed really helped her. Dr. Weaver even let me stay back there with her until we could transport her to an animal hospital. Ultimately, my pup made a full recovery! I was SO appreciative of Dr. Weaver and her team. They were not only knowledgeable enough to save her life, but they also treated me so well during it and made sure I was able to be there with her. In our follow up appointments, they were all so grateful to see her alive and doing well, which made me know that they truly cared about her. I now live out of state and am looking for a new vet, which reminded me how hard it is to find a good one and how lucky I was to have Companion Animal Hospital during my time in Athens. I would highly recommend this vet to anyone in the area! They are so good at what they do and really do care about our pets. I'd go back there in a heartbeat!“

“Such a friendly place, and when you get your babies fixed, it’s not something they usually stay overnight for, at least for my kitten this wasn’t the case. They love animals and it’s quite clear, they are super sweet and take you and your fur babies seriously! Go see them if you need a good, reliable vet!I mean, they’ve taken such good care of mine!“

“I was one of Dr. Wayne Brubaker's first clients when he opened the practice in Winterville. Many times he went above and beyond by meeting us at the clinic at 10:00 p.m. Since Dr. Brubaker sold the practice to Dr. Cole the quality of excellent service I always received is still that - quality service. Over the years I would not trust my fur babies (I have had seven) to anyone else but WAC. A couple of times I had to take my Maggi to the UGA small animal ER because it was after the WAC's normal hours. I was impressed with them. They helped my Maggi get through some tough times until I could get her into WAC. The entire WAC staff has never shown anything but care and compassion. (I must admit I have been told my Maggi was a favorite at the clinic.) My precious little girl was 16 on Sept. 21 then I had to give her up on Oct. 1. Dr. Emily Parsons cried with me as I held my Maggi in my arms wrapped in one of her favorite blankeys. My heart shattered into a thousands pieces when she went to sleep then began her journey to cross the Rainbow Bridge and to see her Daddy. I know my Larry has a heavenly body but Maggi will know her Daddy. I am aware WAC charges for an emergency visit but it was worth it because I knew my Maggi would have the best care. After all, don't we humans have to pay extra for a visit to the hospital's ER? Please ignore the negative ratings I see on here. I don't' have a clue as to why anyone can post a negative rating on here.“

“I cannot speak highly enough of Comer Veterinary Hospital. When my rabbit fell ill, Dr. Russell and his team showed us both unparalleled compassion and attention. Dr. Russell's expertise and genuine care were evident from the moment we walked in. The entire office, from the warm and welcoming receptionists to the skilled veterinary techs and other doctors (thank you Kelsi, Holly, and Dr. Goggans), radiated love and care for my sweet animal. I am immensely grateful for the exceptional care and support we received there during such a challenging time. I wholeheartedly recommend them to anyone seeking compassionate and professional veterinary care.“
