She is patient, kind, transparent about costs, so knowledgeable and open to admitting when she’s unfamiliar with something.I have Ehlers Danlos Syndrome and while she wasn’t familiar with my specific syndrome— Dr Sandy has lots of experience with hyper mobility and most importantly she listens to her patients. She spent over an hour assessing me and working in alternative modalities to help me. She does muscle work and explains everything she’s doing— she also took a genuine interest in my lifestyle, giving me good advice and even remembering things I’d told her on my first visit.It’s so hard to find a good doctor who listens to you, communicates, takes time… the first doctor I saw literally said to me, “the problem with you is— this is just gonna keep happening.” Statements like that are incredibly cruel and demoralizing.
