“We were due for a new water heater and also needed a new pressure regulator valve. When I had the previous water heater replaced 11 years ago, it was quite a bit less expensive and I wasn't prepared for what people were quoting nowadays to have it replaced. I made some initial calls and then came hours of web research and reading reviews (the big companies charge a lot in general, many reviews talked about the gamble of getting techs with skillsets all over the place with some being more of salespeople rather than technicians, the outfits that the big box stores use seem very sketchy and seemed to end up charging as much or more than going directly with a plumber). Thankfully, I found Eastridge Plumbing through a neighborhood Facebook group mentioning the quality of Johnny's work at a very fair price. During my first call, I was happy to find out the guy with his name on the side of the truck and photo on the company website is the actual person doing the work and a master plumber with decades of commercial and residential plumbing experience. Previously, we used a plumber who ended up sending out his younger techs who didn't instill a lot of confidence to the extent that I sent them on their way after paying a steep service call fee just to have several holes cut in my walls. Not again...I called Eastridge Plumbing back, spoke with Johnny's wife Beverly (who was very helpful), and Johnny was at my house within the hour. He knows his stuff, doesn't take shortcuts, and has pride in a job well done. You can tell Johnny enjoys his craft and we are very happy with the water heater and experience in general. Also, Johnny found a better more accessible area to place the new pressure valve and cut off. I could see other plumbers not wanting to take the time to discuss that option let alone go the extra mile for the customer.“
