9915 E Adamo Dr, Tampa“I am very happy with the information, services, and warm professionalism the center provided in connection with servicing our Tucson today. Mario was our representative today, and he took the time to check our service record and inform me about the maintenance services that our vehicle needed. Even tho this is the only service center we’ve taken this particular vehicle to, we were behind on a few maintenance items and didn’t know it. Mario worked with me to explain each of the items that I asked for clarification about, and also took the time to break down the prices and check for available coupons on their website.
The actual services provided today (a total of 6 items, including the routine oil change and tire rotation) were finished a lot quicker than past experiences I’ve had of getting just an oil change and tire rotation done at this same location.
I don’t know if it’s new management and/or implementing new functional processes to help organize the chaos or what, but whatever it is worked out really well today.
I think it’s worth mentioning that I did not like this place before. Even tho the staff were generally friendly and professional, the overall energy at the center used to feel very uncomfortable to me. Things had been confusing, and communication had been difficult for reasons I didn’t understand. By “things” I mean stuff like scheduling an appointment but then still having to wait (sometimes 20 or more minutes after the “appointment” time) just to have an initial conversation with an available staff member. And even then sometimes they’d say they were too busy that day to even start our scheduled maintenance for several more hours or so. And more than once, our car had been ready for pickup after its services were complete for more than an hour or few but without any notification to us of its ready to go status. I get that there are many factors that affect service and wait times, and I try to be understanding. But I had a really hard time understanding what the point of scheduling appointments was if I still ended up spending half the day waiting for an oil change and tire rotation. It didn’t seem like they had any effective systems or processes in place for managing workloads before.
I didn’t have a positive outlook on this service center before. When our maintenance warranty expired, I’d planned to find a new place to get our Tucson serviced because I was so dissatisfied with it. But the oil needed a change again and I hadn’t yet researched new locations, so I took it to this place again today. And I’m so glad it went as smoothly as it did. I’m practically flabbergasted to see what an incredible difference today was from my past experiences at this same location. So much so that I’m taking the time to write and leave this review.
The reason I’m giving the service center only 4 stars today instead of 5 is because of what I’m guessing are automated processes for scheduling appointments. I like the convenience of using the automated system to schedule an appointment now. But the system put me down for a 2000 Tiburon instead of 2022 Tucson… and the last couple times I’ve done an appointment, including today, I got a follow up email saying I missed my scheduled appointment and should call if I want to reschedule it. It’s mostly smooth. But not yet glitch free.
I’d definitely give interactions with Mario today 5 stars. If he didn’t take the time to review our service history with his expertise, I wouldn’t have gotten the necessary maintenance information for our vehicle. But since the review is for the overall service center as a whole, and not just for one genuine professional… I think 4 stars is fair. Especially considering this one stellar appointment experience is contrasted with several chaotic past appointment experiences…
Thank God the center now is like a night and day difference from what it used to be. I can easily see it becoming a 5 star service center soon. And I’m “

“If you are looking for a family-owned auto mechanics shop. You need to go see Dion. He is an excellent businessman and extremely reasonable in price. This is a blue collar worker who's out there doing exactly what we all are trying to make a living to take care of his family.I would suggest going by to see him for all of your automotive needs“
