“Took my 2000 gmc 1500 5.3l to johnny for idle issues and uncalibrated sensors. Went to several other local shops and they all gave me the run around and kept charging me without fixing the problem. Johnny took my truck and figured it out within minutes. He explained to me the entire process. He took out that junk IAC valve and replaced it with an oem ac delco one he had at the shop. He then recalibrated my sensors so everything was working in sync with one another. My truck idles and runs better than it ever has! Back story: Johnny and Miss Ashley took me in over 7 years ago when I was practically homeless. They gave me a job and fed me and my 4 year old son at the time everyday! They took us in and treated us like family! Miss Ashley would take time out of her busy day and watch little Charlie so I could work with Johnny. After about 6 months, I got the call that I got the job at Lakeland Electric. Johnny told me that he hated to see me go but loved to see me win. I stuck with Lakeland Electric and now I'm a Lineman serving my community! When I say they are great and honest people, I really mean it with all my heart! Absolutely best mechanic around!!!
