I was struggling to find a good yoga instructor for a long time. Since I’m not originally from the US, I knew the style of yoga practice would be a little different anyway. But even though Lotus Pond is a bit far from where I live, it’s the most enjoyable place I’ve found.
Carla’s classes are the reason I drive there every weekend. That one hour helps me recharge, feel the amazing energy, and let go of everything after a long, hard week.

I graduated YTT in July of 2025. You may think Yoga Teacher Training would be a walk in the park; that we just learn poses and cues. You may think that of it as a retreat, that we just stretched all day. But this has been SO MUCH MORE!
I walked into this class a different person than I came out. This class has taught me determination, presence, open-heartedness, patience with myself, non-judgement of others, how to treat myself kindly and love myself fully. Today was my first yoga experience. I did the morning slow flow class. Which is thankfuly beginner friendly. Destiny was the yoga instructor. She had such a warm inviting vibe. I Highly recommend going. This place is magical. I will be coming back.
