“I've been going to Mayo since 2014 for several different issues. I can honestly say these doctors are the absolute best you will find anywhere. I've been treated for bone growths in my hips after a doctor at a different hospital replaced both my hips. I've had stomach surgery that only a handful of doctors in this country know how to do. This was the real important one because it allows me to eat normally. I'm here now following up on neck fusion surgery. I'm planning another surgery here down the road to remove the bone growth around my hips while having my right hip replaced a 2nd time. Every office visit has been completely professional and every desk person has been very helpful. All Mayo buildings are always very clean from the offices to the halls to the rest rooms. Over the years I've spent around a week combined recovering from procedures overnight in the hospital. I've only had an issue with one nurse and that's because she didn't want to give me my prescribed pain medicine when I needed it. After less than an hour I was able to get the medicine I needed from a different nurse. Other than that I could not have been treated better by everyone at Mayo. Also, they have very good flatbread pizza sold at one of their cafes in case you get tired of hospital food.“

She was awesome. So much good to say about this office from the front desk to the lab, treatment area, drs and to the ladies at the check out . “I'm surprised at the negative comments as our experience was life saving. After a lifetime of wrong diagnosis from literally one dozen different doctors, we were given a referral to Mayo. Dr Stark ran a double balloon endoscope and found 'meckels diverticulum' (undissolved umbilical cord inside small intestine) Two weeks later my husband saw Dr DeLeon and had the thing removed and life has been great ever since!! Thank you Dr Stark!!!“

“I don't understand all these bad reviews - my mom has been going to UF Kernan Family Medical for a decade now. And for last few years I have been going with her (dementia). I can tell you that Dr Yokitis is caring, patienr, and on point with his diagnoses. He does it with such care and respect, talking to HER and not just talking to me about her. The front desk and nurses have all been kind and caring too.
I do use the portal. I have sent her issues and my concerns ahead of appointments as to not say things in front of my mom that would upset her. She doesn’t like being told she doesnt remember. She forgets or is too embarrassed, and will say everything is fine. He reads my messages and his manner is so caring that he asks her questions in such a way that she does tell him everything. Takes the time to explain everything in detail until she is comfortable.
This practice and UF Proton Therapy are excellent service providers to mom. Thank you.“

“As a long-time user of the Mayo main campus off of San Pablo and 202, I did not know what to expect. What I got was a radiology appointment the same day and a technician Bonnie Lee who was prompt and professional. I see that there are a number of frustrated reviews, mainly for the backlog of appointments. I know it is difficult to break into the Mayo system because they have such a large in-demand practice from both the US and overseas. Yet, they are not gods who perform miracles. Like any institution, there are better and worse practitioners, so you have to do a bit of online research and in-person testing.“
