“Been here a couple times for different things for my dogs. I overall think the staff is friendly and the doctors are compassionate. However, I believe they need to train their receptionists better. They booked an appt for the wrong pet and also called me about missing an appt I had already canceled… please communicate better up front and be more consistent. Also, I had asked several times for the bloodwork results to be emailed for my dog and wasn’t able to get them until I physically went in there for another appt.“

“Very good bedside manner from every single Doctor, Nurse, tech, and employee at Island Animal Hospital. Everyone is so warm and gives a genuine feeling that they actually care and are interested.Sweet little office that doesn’t feel or smell like a vet’s office typically would - rather it is homey and welcoming, which I’d imagine probably has a positive impact on the anxiety level of some pets.Your time with the Doctor doesn’t feel rushed, and they are very patient and focused in answering questions. Both of the Doctors we’ve seen were amazing and always give multiple options for care.The ladies at the front desk are so sweet and the way they manage the office is clearly very organized. From check-in to check-out, the entire appointment is seamless and timely.I’ve been to 2 other Vets in West Palm, and the second I came to Island Animal Hospital I knew I’d found the right fit.“
