Very good bedside manner from every single Doctor, Nurse, tech, and employee at Island Animal Hospital. Everyone is so warm and gives a genuine feeling that they actually care and are interested.Sweet little office that doesn’t feel or smell like a vet’s office typically would - rather it is homey and welcoming, which I’d imagine probably has a positive impact on the anxiety level of some pets.Your time with the Doctor doesn’t feel rushed, and they are very patient and focused in answering questions. Finding a healthcare partner for your fur babies can be a daunting task. Too often we pet parents are left deflated and disheartened by the treatment we receive from Pet Docs. Dr. Scully is an amazing healthcare partner for your pet. She is compassionate to both the human "parent" and the fury "baby". She knows that pet health is so important to the owners and she recognizes the deep commitment that has been made by an owner, especially when the difficult inevitable presents itself. This place caught my eye because it looks so cute from the outside and it's close to where I live. It's just as cute and quaint and clean inside, too. The reception staff was friendly and Dr. Scully was fantastic. She loved all over my cat and I loved that. She also totally supported my raw feeding. I sometimes worry with a new vet they will lecture me on the dangers. But I do it correctly and balanced and my cat's health and fluffiness is a testament to that. I just brought one of my three cats in today for a check-up, but I plan to have Island Animal Hospital be the vet for all of them. Such a lovely experience with a caring doctor.
