“Our dog is excited to see the friendly staff and Dr’s.The office hours are convenient and they can usually get us in if we have an emergency.I like a less is more approach and they’ve been pretty conservative with treatments, therefore we’re comfortable taking our pet there.“

“On 12/22/23, I bought Miko in for an end of life evaluation. After talking to Dr. Hauser, I had to make a very tough decision to put Miko to sleep right before the holidays. Dr. Hauser is professional and personable. She guided me through every step of the way during the process. She was extremely patience with me and gave me all the time I needed during the last moment with Miko. From the bottom of my heart, thank you Dr. Hauser and team for your help and support. I just picked up Miko's ashes. He is forever home with me!“

“Literally the best vet experience I've ever had over 3 decades. Dr V passed on 2 treatments which previous vets suggested for her bec, he said they're simply not needed. Also, he offered pricing of her labs and another procedure without me even having to ask. The vet himself left me a long, extremely descriptive voicemail 4 days after her blood was taken, explaining the results and what it all means. Incredible service!! So grateful for that. Pricing was very fair, and lower than any other vet office I've visited in S. Florida. Absolutely A+ all the way!!! Thx Dr V and staff! "Wiggles" and her mom ?“

“I just wanted to add to the many other comments regarding this incredible Dr. Steven Floyd who has been there for me and my fur babies for over 20 years. You are one of a kind and will always be remembered as the best vet I know. You’ve cared for and saved many of my sweet babies over the years and we are forever grateful. ❤️ Thank you from the bottom of my heart. ??“

“All the staff at Village Vet are the best! The front desk and vet techs are so attentive and loving to my pups. My 13 year old boy had been having hip issues the last year, slipping, not being able to walk on tiled floors, restlessness, not wagging his tail, moaning and he started growling at me (which is NOT his typical behavior). He has always been a very active, sweet happy boy, something was wrong. Dr. Burgess checked him out, and recommended laser therapy. I was very skeptical of how “magic lights” could heal my dog, but omg it worked!! We did 6 treatments and he is back to his old self! Someone asked if he was 5 years old today, because of how spunky and friendly he is! Thank you Village Vet from bringing life back to my sweet 13 year old boy! I couldn’t be more happy with the experience!“

“I'd like to leave a 5 star review since they saved my dogs life. But the billing policies? Who can pay 6k to save an animal without some payment plan ? **Please- MEDVET, how about empathy and understanding of LONGER PAYMENT PLANS VIA CARE CREDIT that wouldn't hurt you a bit!? Kudos to excellent surgeon Dr. Latimer for saving the dog. And, to my regular vet for sending me there specifically. The dog accidentally swallowed a huge bone. Caught in her esophagus. This was a tricky surgery, death possible. From start to finish there were positives and minor negatives. Note: I worked several years at an emergency vet clinic. 1. Intake-dog transfer: while reg. Vet called, sent X-rays and transferred us, upon arrival, there was no confirmation of understanding or receipt of any case info or X-rays. 2. We waited awhile, were then put in exam room-greeted by vet tech, asking various redundant routine questions. We explained everything was done already-tech took her in back. 3. Enter Doc one (not surgeon) explained what was going on,risks and what could happen. Me thinking "who's the surgeon?" I begged them to bring her back to say goodbye in case she died. They didn't do this until I read, signed paperwork agreeing to the bill and surgery. Okay. Balll finally rolling. They say she'd be in surgery a couple hours. My friend met me there (home is 45m away) we left, went elsewhere to wait. Dropped me.back off to waiting room where I continued waiting. Desk person acknowledges me some time later and says "oh, you're still here"? Staff then exits back of clinic, sees me, turns around and runs back. At that moment-I thought my dog was DEAD!! Apparently, they were just finishing and thankfully the Doctor came out-object swallowed in hand, and said she was alive. 4. Care while hospitalized-The next 2 days they were very responsive and doctors watching patient explaining things via phone. She was released, went back for check up and cleared by Dr. Latimer. I found him above and beyond; gracious, understanding, empathetic, passionate and kind. **My biggest complaint:almost 6k bill (not to mention what was spent at my regular vet) and happy to see they accepted care credit for those of us without pet insurance. BUT, only for 6 months. This is 100% offensive. The bill was also difficult to read since there were meds and exam fees charged 4x daily during hospitalization. The tech explained and reviewed every line charge. And, there were errors. +4 stars for fantastic care via techs and Drs. -1 or more for billing policies, short term only with Care Credit and incomprehensible invoice.“

“My experience was wonderful! Dr. Vicki was right on top of things and answered all of my questions and took really good care of my fur baby. He needed to have surgery to remove tumor cells from his back leg due to hemangiosarcoma. Dr. Vicki did a wonderful job at removing as much if not all of the tumors that were present at the time. His pain management was managed excellently And his recovery has been uneventful. I would recommend Sunshine Veterinary Hospital to anyone who is in need of a professional veterinarian. We have a long road to go and I’m comfortable with the decisions that are being made. Dr. Vicki is a very compassionate doctor. Not easily come by these days. Her staff is also very knowledgeable and helpful. All of these things combined, make it a safe place to bring your pet and be at ease. They make a great team!“
