“What a wonderful experience. Our primary vet had no availability for a sick visit for our dog so I called around to other local vets. Eastwood was not only able to fit me in within the hour, but provided top notch service. Dr Castillo was informative, took time to answer questions and seemed to truly care. Additionally, all another staff members that helped during our visit were so sweet and made sure to make Lily very comfortable. I will be switching to this practice from our other vet!“

“This is without a doubt the best vet office in Florida.

We have been going to a different vet for about 4 years and every time the experience got worse. We hated the experience just as much as our cats did. Our cats would sit an hour+ in the clinic room to only be grabbed and taken to the back room for their shots and yearly tests. We were lucky to be able to talk to the doctor for more than 1-2 minutes. Our last visit lasted 3 hours for a single cat checkup so we looked for a different vet.

Our family raved about Hunter’s Creek Animal Hospital so we thought we’d give it a try. The front desk staff were so kind and accommodating during our visit and made sure our cats were cared for and their owners calm during a stressful visit. Dr. Bayer came in and performed all of the yearly tests and administered their vaccines all in the room. We got to see the care and attention that the doctor provided for our cats during the visit. Both cats were as calm as could be and got to see us the entire time. At one point I was tearing up because it felt like we really found a place that truly cared about our cats. We weren’t some number on a list or part of a queue that needed to be finished. I think this office should be proud that they are providing such a well needed service for their community with professionalism and compassion.

Update: We’ve been taking our cats here for a few years now and while they obviously are never overjoyed to be at the vet, they are so calm with Dr. Bayer and his staff. ? We are extremely grateful for this vet office.“

“My cat was recently diagnosed with some sort of asthma issues. After getting poor treatment and info from a previous vet, I went on quite the journey to find a new one. By the time I met with Dr Olson at Varsity Veterinarian Clinic, I was incredibly anxious about my cat and anxious about getting her better testing. Dr. Olson was very thorough, kind, and intelligent; she saw how stressed I was and was able to immediately test my cat and gave me an extensive treatment plan and schedule. Not only was she incredibly accommodating but she offered me priceless reassurance that my cat is ok and they will help us. Every member here is so kind and genuinely cares about your pet, and takes the time to truly listen. Night and day difference for me! Thank you so much!“

“In May, my baby Althea was diagnosed with a mammary tumor and we were referred to Animal Cancer Care Clinic. Dr. Ruddle and the whole staff were great to us. Most vets we’ve been to haven’t understood or been patient with Althea’s anxiety and the team here was so incredibly kind and patient with her it made us all feel safe and cared for. Dr. Ruddle was able to operate and remove the entire tumor and then referred us to Dr. Sones for oncology.

Dr. Sones was so good to us. He answered every question I had, took the time to explain every treatment option, and talked us through this incredibly difficult time. He was a great support and incredibly knowledgeable. It’s obvious everyone here cares very deeply about their patients. He always called me back to talk about treatment options, side effects, and any questions I had. He made sure we felt supported and understood everything that was going on.

The nurses and vet techs were incredible. Althea trusted them. They took the time to make her feel comfortable and safe. They didn’t think she was mean or reactive, they understood she was just nervous and protective of her family. No vet we’ve ever been to has been as kind or patient as the team here.

Unfortunately, we lost Althea suddenly last week. The team did everything they could to prevent this and I believe they gave her an extra 8 weeks of happiness. It’s hard. Cancer sucks. I miss her so much. I’m grateful for the team here and everyone who gave Althea their all and treated her with so much love and kindness. Thank you for trying to save my best friend. She loved all her friends at Animal Cancer Care Clinic.

My only comment is that the emergency line is only 24 hours Monday-Wednesday. Althea passed late Thursday into Friday. Once she started to decline, we called the emergency service, left a voicemail explaining her symptoms and the urgency of the situation with a number to call us back, we never got a response or call back. This was really scary because there’s no after hours support for half the week. You can’t schedule an emergency like this, a call back at least would’ve been comforting.“

“Dr. Fife and his team are amazing. They were able to assess and diagnose my dogs eye issue quickly and efficiently. Dr. Fife was very thorough in his explanation of my dogs condition and even emailed me discharge instruction with more detail and pictures. I am very impressed.“

“If I could give 1,000 stars I would. We evacuated to Orlando during Hurricane Milton. It became apparent that morning that our beloved Cooper couldn't hang on any longer. Dr. Hayes and his staff could not have been more understanding, supportive and stayed open that morning knowing that there could be people like us who desperately needed them.

At 17.5, Cooper's little body was failing him and while we had known the end was close for awhile, it became apparent he wasn't going to make it and we needed to help him pass peacefully. We walked into the clinic and immediately, Dr. Hayes assessed Cooper and told us we were already starting to lose him. He was the only dog we've ever had and I couldn't have asked for a more compassionate doctor to help me let him go.

We were out of town, staying at a hotel because our home wasn't safe, and Dr. Hayes and his staff made us feel like they had been our care team for Cooper's entire life (I wish they had). I will forever be grateful to them and I can honestly say we would drive from St. Pete to Orlando to have the kind of care we received with Cooper if we had any other pets.

Highly recommend HC animal hospital. Someone h"gave low because of cost, I've found it to be comparable to other vets that are only there to make $, it's a business but Hunters Creek seems to care more about our fur babies than other places. Our pets are our family and I prefer to go where they care and take time with us for me that is Hunters Creek.“
