About Downtown Pet Hospital

Downtown Pet Hospital, established in 2005, offers a wide range of veterinary services. The hospital provides in-house bloodwork, laser surgery, therapy laser, digital x-ray, ultrasound, anesthetic dental cleaning, and a full-service pharmacy. The hospital's dedicated veterinarians and friendly staff prioritize providing compassionate and professional care to each pet. Clients have praised the hospital for its high level of care over many years, noting the vets' personal interest in their animals and the efficient service. The modern and clean office environment adds to the positive experience for both pets and their owners.

The hospital has received mixed reviews from customers. Some have had excellent experiences, with the staff described as caring, knowledgeable, and dedicated. They have praised the quality of care and the hospital's ability to provide prompt and effective treatment, even during emergencies. However, other customers have reported issues with communication, follow-up, and perceived negligence in their pet's care. Concerns have been raised about inconsistent hours, long wait times, and a lack of guidance and monitoring for treatments prescribed.

I had such a wonderful experience today and wanted to take a moment to recognize Brittany and Dr. Rafferty.

Brittany was absolutely amazing—professional, kind, courteous, patient, and genuinely caring. She is truly one of the best veterinary technicians I have ever dealt with. She immediately made both Remi and me feel comfortable, and I really appreciated the way she interacted with Remi.

Can't believe in 10 years I haven't written a review. You will not find a better veterinary clinic in Orlando; The staff and doctors are so incredibly knowledgeable, and importantly so kind and sweet and understanding, it's like being with family. They also accept care credit which is awesome. Best vet hands down.

Period. However, we do appreciate that Downtown Pet Hospital's goal is not to sell you on anything that they don't feel is medically necessary. Prior to coming here many years ago, we definitely experienced other clinics where our pets' actual needs were secondary… read full review
