“Strongest recommendation! I'm 56, former athlete, and took up BJJ at 50. I had the PLEASURE of training at Cardoso on a Christmas vacation last year. Just a great culture--positive energy from all. Additionally, the people I rolled with were efficient--no BS, just working and perfecting useful stuff. If you are looking for a good place to learn the ground game (in a great environment), I'd recommend Cardoso highly. We didn't speak the same language but the kindness he showed me and how he would find a way to connect with me to show me the combo or to tell keep my hands up in sparring was surreal. He cares for each of his students like none other. Forever will call this place home. Also world champions are tranning out of this dojo.”

Mr. Santaella saw me and came out of the dojo selflessly to help me. We didn't know each other before.
