“I had recently gotten my roof replaced by Rhino Roofing; I am very happy with the outcome. These guys were great from start to finish - a professional inspector came and provided us with 3 different options to choose from; we were concerned that we were not going to be able to afford a metal roof - they offered options if we had cash and a payment plan for the remaining balance.
They came bright and early, took off old roof in a few hours and put a waterproof layer on the decking before they started the install of the metal. I gotta tell you, it’s a skill!! Having to put it all together, as nice and simple it looks it’s definitely intricate to put together. The entire install took about a week as they warned us (that’s a normal for metal roofs).
Our house looks great! Metal roof definitely elevates the whole look of the house and I have a peace of mind that we have many years to come not to worry about insurance knocking into my door telling to replace it ?“

“Had our roof replaced in July 2025. Shingle and underlayment materials arrived on time on the day scheduled. Crew arrived on time and knocked out the roof in a couple days. Had a sudden rain storm come in and crew was quick to get the tarps out and cover the roof so no damage inside. John, himself, was present several times through the process and assisted as needed. “I’m very happy with both the product and process of working with Apex Roofing & Restoration to replace my roof. Although initially skeptical, having heard similar pitches from other contractors, the folks at Apex made the process as easy and painless as possible. Right from the beginning, they made sure that I had all the information I need, providing me information about forms to come, choices to be made and a person to be my point-of-contact. They also spent time early on determining our preferences for shingle design & color and other planning details, Although I thought the information was a little premature, since we still needed to settle with the insurance company, it did allow them to move quickly once the settlement was reached.
And here I must give a special accolade to Amy Varela, my Production Coordinator, who worked tirelessly throughout the installation process to keep me informed ahead of time of what was to be done and when/how it would be done. Questions I had about materials, scheduling, etc. were answered promptly and scheduling adapted to suit my availability to travel out of state to prepare the site for ethe work and monitor the work in person. And what an amazing job once work began: the crew did a phenomenal job, stripping and papering the entire roof and installing the new shingles, all in 2 days despite having to stop the first day to await approval from the local building inspector (it being MLK Jr. Day, no inspections were happening that day), and doing a superb job of cleaning up each day.
I also want commend our Site Supervisor Garry Mang, who was great at communicating with me before and during the process to ensure I was satisfied with what and how the work was being done, made sure things were addressed properly and assured me that they would deal with the few complications that arose – some litter inside the house from work around a skylight, some facia boards that needed to be replaced, and most surprising to me, the removal of the gutters on my house. Gary explained that the gutters had to be removed to install he new roof edging and assured me that there would be a separate crew coming sometime in the next few weeks to replace the gutters, which they did. And once again, Amy Varela did a superb job keeping me informed of plans to address the remaining small jobs, (e.g., trimming around the skylight), and verifying that they had been resolved to my satisfaction. Overall, I've been very happy with the process and glad to recommend Apex to my neighbors and friends.“
