“GF Truck and Trailer came out early in the morning and handled a complicated electrical issue on my 2015 Freightliner Cascadia (DD15 / DT12) The tech quickly diagnosed a databus / wiring problem related to heat damage in the engine bay, explained everything clearly, and got straight to work.
What impressed me most was the professionalism and troubleshooting ability. They repaired the damaged wiring properly, secured and routed everything the right way, and made sure the truck was safe and running smoothly before leaving.
Communication was solid, response time was fast, and the quality of work was top-tier. This is the kind of company you want when you’re dealing with a serious breakdown and need it done right the first time.
I wouldn’t hesitate to call GF Truck and Trailer again and would confidently recommend them to any owner-operator or fleet driver.“

“Tim and his team were very professionnal to help about an issue with our Allison transmission. We were on a trip with our new motorhome. We arrived at 7 and 10 minutes after, a technician was there doing verifications . Thereafter they called Allison guy to check the problem and advise us from the beginning of the delays we havé to expert.
At 10, we were back on the road, the Allison technician reconnect a wire, we went on highway to test and eveything was ok then.
We were pleased about the competence of everyone involved and more than pleased of the rapidity of the service and the whole service itself.“

“I was broke down on 295 in Jacksonville, FL and Sara delivered parts not once but twice in her own personal vehicle not the delivery truck. I always call and ask for her because she is the most knowledgeable one that I deal with there in the parts department for my truck. I just want to give Sara a huge shout out for going above and beyond her job to help this ole truck driver out. Thank you Sara!!!“

“So far the experience is good ??
Polite and professional.

Our social impact organization’s Change Rover (Mobile Innovation Station) is being driven from Miami, FL to Oberlin, OH for some exciting opportunities that have presented themselves; and after a 7yr run in Florida it's time to take our Change Rover on the road to help secure NEW trucks ? for continued everlasting social impact and positive experiences.

We had a few workshops on Saturday 8.10 featuring two barber workshops servicing the youth with fresh haircuts for school and a DJ workshop guiding youth through the fun experience of "controlling the party!"

BUT, during these amazing workshops our ac stopped working. Good thing is our super star barbers and DJ were willing to put in the work outside of the Change Rover with a huge industrial fan Project Ready for School provided us (Thank you!).

So rather than sit around in Miami we decided to roll the windows down and hit the road with NO AC.
Wow! It is soooo hot sitting on the engine of a 2006 Isuzu NPR...

Then once we hit Jacksonville the Change Rover starts to overheat.
I listened and then smelled coolant so I pulled over to discover the coolant was empty. I refilled it but couldn't tell where it was leaking from. I continued driving and as it started to overheat again I detoured to the closest gas station to buy more coolant so I didn't have to worry about the radiator breaking. Then I discovered that if I don't drive over 30mph the coolant level remains full and it doesn't overheat. Of course this meant that now my remaining ETA of 1hr 15min just doubled and the Change Rover had to continue the drive off the highway. GPS then took me for a drive through Cracker Swamp down Cracker Swamp Road (Not a made up name) only to discover that the brakes are no longer working as good as they should. To the point where I then had to use the emergency brake to come to a full stop (luckily the emergency brake works).

Then after pulling over one last time to survey the engine I noticed one belt on the front of the engine is gone and the other two are loose. Smh ??‍♂️

Good news is I finally made it to our first stop in Jacksonville and got the Change Rover to Nextran Truck Centers this morning.

Now we wait to get a quote (which we pray isn't too expensive). Unfortunately, it doesn't seem like they'll be able to work on the Change Rover today so looks like our road trip has come to a halt temporarily.

Please ?? Send us your good vibes!“
