This is my second time to the breast care center at Ascension St. Vincent's and all I can say is that they set the bar for a five star experience! My appointment was at 10:30 AM. The check-in was fast and easy... I had a mammogram, an ultrasound, a consult with the radiologist... all within a 40 minute span and I was walking to the parking garage. So kind, gentle, supportive, it truly makes a difference, and they clearly care!!
Good hospital, went in for an appointment with the neurologist, I didn't really deal with any hospital staff. Just the one doctor. Parking was $3.75, not sure if that is per day or hour. The system was broken so that fee was for all day for us. The offices could use a little more cleaning and care, especially the carpet.
Doctors who came in were very helpful. 11/6/23 . Rm3302.The day shift aide is not good with diapers. She barely gets it in correctly. She didn't clean mom properly twice and I had to show new clean diaper was dirty just from being on when we just got done changing her. Even tho both mom and myself told her she still felt sting and itch both front and back. There was poop still in both sides and she wiped the front and added diaper rash cream and smeared it. I wiped her bottom after and it was still dirty and I looked and diaper was stained with poop as well as the sheet. She then changed her again and cleaning she had poop still in her skin . She changed the sheet. Mom has a biopsy site in her vulva that hurts like acid when it touches pee or poop. Same tech this morning doing a double shift. It took one hour to get her changed this morning since breakfast she had poop and both doctors came in to talk to her while she poop and they both left and was still waiting for aide to come clean her. I went to complain to charge nurse and patient nurse came to clean mom herself. Then later before lunch again nurse came to clean her. But they're are short staffed and I blame the hospital because if anyone called out they can call anyone else to come in and work. They should have more than just one tech.
