While some machines were removed, access to essential items like dumbbells and squat racks remains, making workouts effective. Despite some minor issues, LA Fitness continues to be a convenient and reliable option, especially for those who travel frequently. The staff, including friendly and knowledgeable members like Joe, contribute to a welcoming atmosphere and excellent customer service.
This gym is great. Clean- the cleaning crew is excellent. Equipment- new and always working. I highly recommend Becca! She is so knowledgeable and helpful. If you are coming in to tour the gym and/or interested in the Pilates program (what a deal compared to other Pilates studios) Becca will help you navigate what is the best option for you.
Before the remodel, this location had 4 machines for back exercises that were top tier for pure muscle building. They've been replaced with machines that are a whole tier lower. The new t-bar row machine has a fixed pad and foot rests so you can't adjust for height. The plate loaded row machine is great, but has soft padding on the handle, leaving you unable to properly use straps for your grip. The plate loaded lat pulldown machine is the worst one, you can't even get a full stretch on the eccentric. Basically useless. They should bring back the Xpload lat pulldown with the rotating handles and the plate-loaded low row. The sauna is great and I like the new dumbbells… read full review
Have been coming to LA for past couple of years. Great workout classes- especially Eddie’s yoga and body works. Always clean and friendly. Jay the GM is great! And all the trainers- Maurice, Eric, Brad and Josh are awesome!
