Had been told by another shop (several years ago) that I would need to send it out for forensic recovery which might cost $1000. Since it contained years worth of digital pics of my children’s childhoods, I had just held into for years waiting for a time when I could afford that. I recently decided to get a second opinion and Jason and his team figured out the power module (chip) was the issue. They were able to power it another way and save all my data and pictures. For $125. I am beyond thrilled and have been going down memory lane for the rest of the day, seeing the photos and videos I was afraid I had lost forever. “Vito took a tired old laptop and made it new again. Actually he made it better then it ever had been and for much less then you would spend on a new one and I believe it is better....UPDATE. This computer was my late husband's and I wanted to give it to my granddaughter. It was mailed to her and upon receiving it it didn't work AT ALL.
