I've always found they to be responsive, reasonably priced and ethical. (One time, after describing the problem on a Sunday morning, instead of making the visit, he told me how to fix the problem on my own--for a SMALL fraction of the price!) So, when I needed a new unit, I called AMI. The owner was at my house within 2 hours and sized up the situation in 10 minutes, gave me a quote and offered to install within two days (it was not an emergency situation.)
