“Last month, my AC unit started losing its cool. I had a maintenance agreement With another company and they came out and told me I needed a new condenser. I had a carrier unit that was going on 11 years. It did not make sense for me just to replace the condenser so I decided to shop around for a new AC unit. I did my research and found out that in South Florida, American Standard’s outdoor condenser is made to handle South Florida’s heat and humidity. I had read about the variable speed units that work well at removing the humidity from your home. So I shopped around and had a few people come out to give me a quotes. I came across Pro Comfort AC out of Deerfield Beach and found them to be very professional. The company is owned by Nick and Eugene, who are both great guys and very knowledgeable. Most of the quotes I received were higher than what Pro Comfort AC quoted me. The one company that was about the same was not as professional as Pro Comfort AC and seemed to want to take Shortcuts. So I decided to go with Pro Comfort AC and I am so glad that I did. From the very start I was greeted by Manuel and Juan, the installers, with a big smile. They were both really nice and listened to what I had to say. They worked very hard at getting my unit installed correctly. Some of my wiring in the attic was old and needed to be replaced which is why at first the unit was not communicating. They did some troubleshooting and figured out exactly what was wrong and fixed it. I would give the installation a 10 out of 10. And from what I researched that is the most important part.
I absolutely love my new AC system. It runs quietly and feels very comfortable in here. It never feels humid and the air feels very clean. I also like the fact that I can control the temperature through the app when I’m out of the house to make it extra cool when I get home.
