Last month, my AC unit started losing its cool. I had a maintenance agreement With another company and they came out and told me I needed a new condenser. I had a carrier unit that was going on 11 years. It did not make sense for me just to replace the condenser so I decided to shop around for a new AC unit. I did my research and found out that in South Florida, American Standard’s outdoor condenser is made to handle South Florida’s heat and humidity. I found Pro Comfort AC online and decided to give them a try. Since they’re a family-owned company, you can really tell they have a different approach. They treat you like a customer, not just another job. They answer the phone, respond to messages, and communicate throughout the whole process.
Their technicians showed up on time, wore clean uniforms, and were professional from start to finish. They relocated the outdoor units for my Trane split systems, installed new copper line sets, and recommissioned everything correctly. We moved into our newly built home in Boca Raton about two years ago, and soon after, our kids started getting sick often and coughing a lot. We began looking into what might be causing it and called ProComfort AC
Their team discovered mold inside the ventilation system, and the AC units were extremely dirty and clogged with construction dust. There was also mold growing inside the system. They recommended a full cleaning and anti-mold painting and full maintenance service for all the units.
