“Of to a shaky start because I received a message advising of FIFTY DOLLAR fee if appt canceled inside of 24 hours. That's ok and even reasonable yet I arrived to my 3:15p appt at 3:03p, checked in and at 3:21p after already having completed paperwork receive a text at 3:21 again stating blah blah blah $50 fee. HELLO... I'M HERE (hand waving in the air- that part just for fun but you get the picture).LeighAnna (sp) was awesome with explaining along the way what she'd be doing and why. Then I go to another room and wait 32 minutes for the doctor. While his 'bedside' manners are exemplary, I think that his doting on each patient is what poses the delay. BUT MIND YOU, I LIKE HIM and when its your turn for the extra care, it feels good.Then next... years ago I was seen at this location and purchased a top notch pair of unique eyewear. Bummer! They no longer carry that brand. I'm disappointed but oh well, change is inevitable. Do I recommend, Total Vision in DeBary- yes!But next time, I'll schedule when I don't have to return to work.“

“Had my yearly visit the other day. Unfortunately, my sight got a bit worse, but I took in several pairs of glasses to see what was what since I've had them for years. Kelly got me squared away and let me know what each prescription applied to each pair.
Saw Dr. Love and we went over several options for glasses. Then met with Ashley and she explained the benefits of using Guardian/VSP at this time. Good experience with all staff there.“

Very welcoming & efficient process, then to be assigned to Valerie T who was the most cordial, knowledgeable associate I have dealth with in a LONG time, from honest opinion about frames and working with us on pricing... “It's been years since my last eye exam. My most recent visit to the eye doctor was to tend to a scratched cornea that occured at work several years ago. Thankfully I don't have any major issues with my eyes; regardless, I am overdue for a full checkup. Scheduling a visit with Dr. Hunt was a breeze. When you call the office a real person picks up on the other end. After a brief conversation and providing my insurance details I had an appointment for the following week, sweet! The representatives at the office call ahead to remind you of your appointment and also send a email if you choose to provide one. The office is tucked away off the main road and is in it's own building; one of several in this medical complex. The staff greet you when you enter and they do a great job keeping everything clean and organized. I was impressed with the layout, fitting areas, and variety of glasses frames they have available. Dr. Hunt was friendly and informative. I asked for the comprehensive vision and eye exam which includes dilation, several visual and ocular tests, and scans of both eyes. Note that dilation and other tests cost about $20 more, each. Dr. Hunt was very knowledgeable and provided valuable feedback while answering all my questions. Dr. Hunt also provided a prescription for glasses that would help reduce strain when reading or driving at night; however, he stated that I have better than 20/20 vision so It's not necessary at this time. All and all I had a great experience at Hunt Eyecare and definitely recommend them. If you are in need of a great optometrist, Dr. Hunt is the one.“

“This is mostly for Dr.Jochum. The day I came to see you I was impressed with your staff and you.Then I had to meet with Bonnie. Oh boy!?. She's a rude know it all that cuts people off mid sentence when they're trying to talk to her like I was trying to say my insurance will change Jan.2026 she says before I can finish I know. Then tried to tell her I've changed where I get my prescription she interrupts with I know. She's handing me papers so fast she might as well thrown them at me. I called Monday
1/5/26 and said this Jackie Bowes she jumps in oh are you ready to schedule. I said no I'm already set up. I was asking about having you send the insurance company a letter on the Trifocal helping me because I'm blind in one and other I'm nearsighted farsighted and astigmatism. She says oh he won't do that and they won't cover the Trifocal so we don't even bother. REALLY! I called back later and asked to speak to you when you had time or the end of your day. That was Monday this is now Friday and I've yet to hear from you and all I wanted to ask is the regular lense going to help at all and they say they pay for a contact after cataract surgery but I have astigmatism. Patient services need improvement without a doubt.“

“My first time here for an eye exam and Dr Bachus was great! She was very good about explaining what she was doing during the test and was professional, friendly and easy to talk with.

Leiana the tech was also very understanding and professional. She was wonderful.

When I had my eyeglasses fitting Matias was excellent as well, friendly, knowledgeable and listened to my opinion on what I wanted and how the new glasses felt.

Dr. Christy Larson is caring and his team has the latest in advanced technology to make sure your eyes get the very best technology has to offer. We only get one pair of eyes, so only the best will do for me and you should feel the same way. Because of Dr. Larson's long tenure as a doctor, he can spot and see things in your eyes some doctors miss.“

“Very kind and welcoming environment the staff treats everyone like they are family and sometimes they even have little snacks there for the guest to nibble on while waiting. The doctor is very thorough in helping patient get the best prescriptions for eyes. The only thing I would suggest for improvement is when allowing patient choose to color for contacts instead of sending them home with a sample for one eye. Please consider giving them a set instead so they can see the full view to make a clear decision on weather the color works for them or not before ordering. Because it is difficult to make that decision with one eye. Which was the whole purpose of my visit. Other than that, I’m satisfied with my service I received. Thank you“
