So by Sunday she was not getting any better so I took her in and saw Dr. Elissa who was very nice and caring. I’m new to the area and she was able to recommend a veterinarian to me. “We love all of the incredible people at this animal hospital , they saved the life of our dog Cocoa as she was diagnosed with Addisons disease and was near death when we brought her to the miracle worker Dr. Johnson . We now live in the Gainesville area and STILL this is the only place we depend on to treat her , Cocoa has to get an injection every month and I religiously make this trip every month . I have tried other veterinarian hospitals in our area but NONE of them measure up to the kind of care and adoration that they give to both of our dog's , and price wise we save around 100 dollars per visit compared to the other locations we have been to , when it comes to money all animals care is expensive let's face it but these dog's are our kids now and you can't put a price on the care they need , Dr.Johnson works with the animal owners in many ways to try to keep costs down . If you want 5 star care and love for your pet this is the place for them , it's very clean and organized and the staff is incredible , they've been there all through Cocoa's life , she was diagnosed at 2 and she's going on 11 now which is incredible because year's ago this disease was a death sentence . Folk's it's not just my dog's , I've witnessed the doctors and staff here treat EVERY animal with the same love and compassion as they do with our dog's . Important ... they are by appointment only of course unless it's an emergency but you will not find a better place to take your pet . As I've said before , Michigan may have Dr. Pol but we have Dr. Johnson and there is no better .“

“Can’t say enough about Maricamp Animal hospital. I took my dog there because she was actively having a seizure. They were the closest to my house. ( I have never had my dog there before) As soon as we got there they took my dog straight back and didn’t ask questions about my name, seeing driver’s license, making sure I was going to pay, nothing! Their main focus was my dog and her health. They were very compassionate and caring, and it showed!! Everyone there was extremely nice and caring. They took such wonderful care of my puppy girl. I will be taking both of my dogs there from now on. Since moving to The Villages I've used Faithful Companion and hands down they’re the best vets and support staff ever. At my last visit this week especially, I received a down to earth, realistic prognosis and treatment plan for my dog. Expensive and pointless testing was neither pushed nor recommended which was so refreshing. Thank you Faithful Companion for being so genuine.“

Not only is her office affordable, which takes off the worry of “can I afford this?” when my dogs get sick (I have only had blue noses, which are typically unhealthy little creatures), but she genuinely takes the time to address your concerns and deeply cares for her patients. There have been quite a few times I’ve freaked out over nothing because I’m an anxiety queen where she could’ve taken me for a ride and charged me when it wasn’t necessary, and she never has. “Have been taking my 11 year old beagle there for five years. She has neck and back spinal problems that can lead to paralysis and could require emergency surgery they are great at getting her in same day when she has a flare up. She had an injury that aggrieved her spinal cord with pain and limb weakness I was out of the state and my mother took her in and I called while she was on her way. They took her straight back because she needed to be seen for a potential surgical emergency. They are an amazing and caring staff. They even call a couple days later to check on her. I would highly recommend them to anyone.“

“Midtown Animal Clinic was recommended to me by a friend, she was absolutely right about this place and I'm glad I listened. They were very polite, kind and professional. I adopted a kitten and she needed her first checkup and they were very gentle with her and kept her calm throughout the exam and shot she needed, as well as talking to me and recommending better foods and tips for helping our kitten adjust. I'm very pleased with how I was treated and more importantly how our new family member was treated.“

“My young cat is very feral, petable, but feral. The vet was doing shots in the middle of the fish area. I told her that wouldn't work because if he bolted (which he did), we'd never catch him again. The tech suggested taking him into the restroom, which worked perfectly. It was an area where he was easily caught, scruffed, given his rabies shot and put back in the carrier, with everyone unharmed and safe.
I would use them again.“
