“We were looking for a vet to get our two cats established after a very unfavorable experience at a chain company vet. I cannot even begin to express how great my experience at Quail Meadow was. The receptionist was kind and very helpful, and I recieved a notification to remind me of my appointment. Both the vet and the tech at the appointment were calm and patient with my very skittery kitty (who needs meds just to see the vet) and showed such gentle compassion when she began to get frightened and worked up. My cat has struggled at the vet in the past, but you could tell she felt much safer here. During the appointment, they had an honest discussion about vaccine recommendations - not pushy or overexaggerated at all (my last experience at the chain vet was like that). They worked around the needs of my cats and listened to my concerns, treating me like part of the care team. To top it all off, the following day, they called just to check in on my nervous cat to make sure she was feeling okay after the appointment. I have NEVER had that before even from a vet that I had been going to for years. What amazing and compassionate service! I would highly recommend Quail Meadow. It is abundantly clear that they sincerely care about your animal and not just getting money.“

“I cannot thank Dr Aten and his staff enough for helping a little stray kitty that was dumped by my neighbors a few years ago. I called them on a Tuesday afternoon because she had snot and blood coming from her nose and they were able to squeeze her in the very next morning. The vet tech (I'm sorry I don't remember her name) was very sweet and gentle with her and Dr Aten was thorough and explained the options in a very direct yet respectful way. Never once did I feel judged that I couldn't do all the recommendations in one visit. Long story longer, I highly recommend giving Baseline Animal Hospital a try. I have 3 indoor kitties that I'm hoping I can transfer to them for their care. Thank you so much to the entire staff for your hard work and dedication to the pets (and strays?) of Marion county!“

“On February 6th our precious 8 year Old Mini Schnauzer developed a painful bump located on top of her right paw. It caused her pain to the touch & it also caused her to walk with a limp. Our usual Veterinary Clinic gave us a 2/29 appt which meant we had about 3 weeks to wait. We contacted Maricamp Animal Hospital on February 6th late in the evening via an email & they immediately gave us a February 7th appt for the morning. Wow they gave us an immediate appt. We are soooooo. grateful for the fast appt date because medical conditions will most likely worsen with the passage of time. At Maricamp Animal Hospital our dog Kloe was examined by Dr. Otero (Veterinarian) who prescribed the perfect Treatment for Kloe. Today is February 16th & Kloe’s paw is totally cured thanks to her getting the right treatment. We are super grateful to Maricamp Animal Hospital Services’ provided by the treating Physician, Dr. Otero and also grateful to all the techs & staff who assisted us in a competent, polite, caring and overall the nicest way possible. Thank you a million! ??“

“I can't begin to describe my appreciation to the EMCO team for their help with Cookie when the three of us appeared Friday night in dire straits. Cookie had the large intestine compaction and my husband and I had had an emotional overload of bad news about Cookie's future prognosis after his surgery earlier in the day at Ocala Equine Hospital (another fabulous place with a team who did a wonderful job).With the onset of colic, they recommended EMCO where Cookie needed to be transported to immediately. A special thanks to Dr. Carpenter and the techs that night that dealt with the three of us. Besides knowledge and professionalism, I was blown away by the compassion and caring for all of us as she may have saved Cookie's life.Special thanks also to Dr. Henry and Harrison for the daytime care and compassion they showed the three of us also. They were very kind and patient and allowed me a lot of hang-out time with Cookie. I am forever grateful to you all for saving him as I lost my last horse to colic in 2008.Again, thank you for everything.“
