“Early Thursday morning, I experienced a sudden spell of dizziness and fell backward, hitting the corner of a wall in my home. The fall resulted in a 1.5-inch cut on my scalp. My husband did his best to stop the active bleeding by carefully cleaning and sanitizing the wound, and then quickly made an online reservation at AdventHealth Centra Care in Lake Mary. We were scheduled to arrive at 8:25 a.m., and we got there right on time.
Upon arrival, we were warmly greeted by Melissa and Rita, who were incredibly kind, caring, and courteous. They were genuinely sympathetic to my injury, and I was seen immediately. Dr. Mena, Synovia, and Katherine were truly amazing. They expertly treated the wound and stapled my scalp with compassion and professionalism. Throughout the process, they comforted me, eased my fear, and helped me stay calm during a stressful and painful moment.
I’m deeply grateful for the prompt, top-notch care I received. It meant so much to be treated with such empathy and skill.
