15318 W Newberry Rd, Newberry“I HIGHLY recommend taking your pet to west end animal hospital! Every single one of their vets are amazing at what they do and care for my pets like they are their own. I have 3 cats that see both Dr. Montgomery and Dr. Stevens as their primary veterinarian. My oldest cat was diagnosed with diabetes and Dr. Stevens was so helpful in educating my husband and I on how we can care for him and how to initiate treatment with insulin. She took such amazing care of him and he is now in remission and no longer needs insulin! Additionally my youngest kitten was extremely sick when he was 13 weeks old and ended up being hospitalized which was a really traumatizing event for my husband and I. Dr. Montgomery followed up with us immediately after his hospitalization given he still had an active infection and she cultured his wound and promptly started the antibiotics he needed since his infection was resistant to everything except for one specific antibiotic. She went through the effort to coordinate with a compounding pharmacy and get a topical treatment for him and help set us up with CCVS urgent care for some IV antibiotic treatments. She emailed me on a daily basis to check in and provided extremely humanistic care for our fur baby. All of the vets here are extremely skilled clinically in their reasoning and diagnostic skills. They have saved both of my cats lives and are amazing primary care doctors that will do their best to keep your pets healthy and happy and prevent them from getting ill but in the case that they do they will be there every step of the way! They also make a strong effort to make their clinic a calm and comfortable place for pets with anxiety.“

I could have stood up there and chatted with them all day. The care from the veterinary team was top notch as well. Their love of animals is quite evident. Also, the cost was quite reasonable. Free first visit? That is so generous! I am soooo very happy I found this place for my dog.“

106 SW 140th Terrace UNIT 3, Newberry“I posted in an LGBTQ+ group for folks living in Gainesville who have a vet they would recommend. Tobías Veterinary Services was recommended by a few people so I gave them a call. When I called them, I confirmed right away that they were LGBTQ+ friendly, they assured me they were. They were able to give me transparent prices for the things we were interested in, + the $75 home visit fee. Which ended up being significantly less than our former vet was charging for an in office visit. That $75 fee for house calls is so very worth it. They showed up early— Dr. Porcher with 2 vet techs. They were all lovely from the beginning to end and they included our 6 year old daughter in the care they provided. One of our cats is a formerly feral cat and is very traumatized by vet care and they were great with her— and they let my daughter be a source of comfort for our old kitty. They explained everything to us- made suggestions, and helped us make good decisions for our pets. When they left we made a follow up appointment for a booster for our doggo. They came back last week and gave her the booster. Dr. Porcher brought a goodie bag for our aspiring veterinarian 6 year old— with real (safe) medical supplies to add to her doctor kit. Dr. Porcher said she was so sad that Maya wasnt home at the time of the visit but looked forward to seeing her again. Clearly the visit was not about our kiddo, but their approach to animal medicine is like family medicine—-an approach I really appreciate. I foresee having a long relationship with the good people of Tobías Veterinary Services. And look forward to the next time they lovingly care for our pets.“

They were so kind and patient with me both over the phone and in person. They also made sure to let me know what was going on every step of the way. My cat is feeling much better now and so am I. “We had our first visit at Countryside Animal Hospital in Alachua, and it was outstanding. The experience from start to finish was superb. The entire team was incredibly friendly, welcoming and genuinely kind to both us and our dog. They took the time to answer our questions, made us feel comfortable and handled everything with professionalism and care. What really stood out was how affordable the visit was without sacrificing quality. It’s clear they truly care about the animals and the families they serve. We’re so grateful to have found such a trustworthy veterinary team right here in Alachua and will absolutely be coming back.“
