She was patient with our anxious girl and answered every question we had fully. I've been to other vets where I felt rushed through, but not here. She really took her time to make sure we had addressed all of our concerns and left with a healthy dog. Thanks Dr. Gruntmeir and the fantastic staff at Newberry Animal Hospital Springhill!“

I am crazy about my pets, so finding a new vet clinic when I first moved to Gainesville was very stressful. Thankfully, I was fortunate to have found this clinic.

Dr. Claire Stevens has been fantastic. She was informative, honest, and always fun to talk to. When she felt uncomfortable to treat something, she always referred me to a specialist immediately, so my pets could get treatment ASAP. She answers all of my questions, and has been quick to respond. She was also upfront about all costs. I moved from CA, so the prices at WEAH were cheaper (than CA prices) for which I am very thankful (haha). I have always received excellent care from her and the hospital team for my 5 furbabies. If you are new to the area, I strongly recommend her.

Now that I have moved across the country, I am again anxious to establish a connection to a new vet clinic, but I hope my new vet team will be just as amazing as WEAH.“

“I posted in an LGBTQ+ group for folks living in Gainesville who have a vet they would recommend. Tobías Veterinary Services was recommended by a few people so I gave them a call. When I called them, I confirmed right away that they were LGBTQ+ friendly, they assured me they were. They were able to give me transparent prices for the things we were interested in, + the $75 home visit fee. Which ended up being significantly less than our former vet was charging for an in office visit. That $75 fee for house calls is so very worth it. They showed up early— Dr. Porcher with 2 vet techs. They were all lovely from the beginning to end and they included our 6 year old daughter in the care they provided. One of our cats is a formerly feral cat and is very traumatized by vet care and they were great with her— and they let my daughter be a source of comfort for our old kitty. They explained everything to us- made suggestions, and helped us make good decisions for our pets. When they left we made a follow up appointment for a booster for our doggo. They came back last week and gave her the booster. Dr. Porcher brought a goodie bag for our aspiring veterinarian 6 year old— with real (safe) medical supplies to add to her doctor kit. Dr. Porcher said she was so sad that Maya wasnt home at the time of the visit but looked forward to seeing her again. Clearly the visit was not about our kiddo, but their approach to animal medicine is like family medicine—-an approach I really appreciate. I foresee having a long relationship with the good people of Tobías Veterinary Services. And look forward to the next time they lovingly care for our pets.“

“This is the best veterinary clinic ever. The doctors and staff are super compassionate and knowledgeable. Dr. Brandenburg always provides information and options to help me make the necessary decisions. She replies to my phone calls and emails. (I have had a dog with many health issues.) She performs surgeries and many lab tests in-house. I totally trust her abilities and I also appreciate that she is easy to talk with. Dr. Kicera, whom I have seen less often, gives me an equally good impression of kindness and competence. Office hours are generous, appointments are not too hard to schedule, and the staff works hard to fit in patients that have an urgent need. Both you and your pet will be happy to visit this clinic.“

“Dr Pat was fabulous with my bearded dragon! He knows his reptiles! It's an old-school clinic with handwritten notes and lots of individual time. I was completely satisfied with my care while there.“

They were so kind and patient with me both over the phone and in person. They also made sure to let me know what was going on every step of the way. My cat is feeling much better now and so am I. “I was informed that there was a holistic approach to add to my senior mastiffs issue with his arthritic hips. I met with one of the Vets and she was wonderful with my furr guy. He tolerated the acupuncture well. I’m just trying any and everything to make his last lap comfortable“

“The staff are wonderful. My Mainecoon girl cat Bailey does not do good being packed in a Carrier and taken to the vet. they can never get a good exam on her. The Tobias team is Always able to give Bailey a thorough exam. They even will cut her nails for me. Everyone on their team is excellent and caring. I couldn't ask for a better vet for my cat.“
