“We've had leaks in our bedroom ceilings and we saw that Nest was highly rated so recently reached out to Nest Exteriors. They communicated extremely well with the schedule and next steps. Miguel was our point of contract and he was outstanding. When their crew came to our house they were very professional and took their time. They actually uncovered that our issue was actually a problem with condensation coming from our Air Conditioning Unit. They spent a lot of time inspecting hard to reach areas in the attic. Even though it took them a while to do the inspection, they did not charge us for their time. I totally recommend this company.“

“B&R siding replaced all of our aluminum siding with insulated vinyl craneboard siding. Three work was complete promptly with an impressive attention to detail. Overall it took 3 weeks for delivery to arrive, and then work was complete in 4 business days. Siding the install it rained and they kept everything covered and had no issues. When I realized a small thing was forgotten, I got an immediate response to have someone come fix it even though the work was signed and paid. I would definitely use this company again.“

The team also carefully inspected all areas around the house to ensure there were no nails or shingle materials on the ground around the house.

We had MAJOR storm damage in June 2025 when a 10+ Ton tree fell on to our house destroying roof truss, rafters, window, ceiling, etc. We were fortunate to have great immediate experience with our tree removal from Shelton Tree Service. After working through insurance and mortgage funding and several estimates, we were very fortunate to go through Painter Roofing. The owner of the company, Frank Painter, was involved with us throughout the build out and repair. Very accessibile at all times and excellent with timeline. No surprises and we are happy to have met Frank Painter and his work crew. He lives here locally in Arlington and his children went to Yorktown High School. This community is very important to him. “If you could give more than 5 stars I would!! After meeting several contractors we chose Nations Choice to replace our 30 year old vinyl siding with James Hardie siding. It was a huge job! The work ethic of Jae and his crew was admirable. They arrived at 7am and left at 6pm only stopping for a quick lunch. We are delighted with the finished project. Our house looks updated and lovely. They cleaned up every night.We also had 23 windows replaced with beautiful Provia windows. Again Jae and his helpers did a wonderful job. Very fast, efficient and professional. Easy to work with.John Kim, President of the company, was very attentive and kept us updated. They even finished one day early. Meticulous work was done at our home! Highly recommend!“

“Needed to duplicate some keys. After talking to their staff, they led me to this self service machine. After touch the screen button, inserted key into the upper slot. After scanning, the screen showed a few pattern designs from $3.97 to $6. The duplicate was made and delivered to the lower slot within one minute. Then went to self checkout and paid. They remodeled my kitchen, repaired sloppy drywall in numerous locations, painted by entire downstairs, built a new counter in my kitchen and a new fireplace mantle, and installed a ceramic tile backsplash in the kitchen. All of the work was done perfectly and beyond my expectations. I'm very picky. Everyone in the company is polite, helpful, and professional. Leo Ambriz did the estimating and supervised the job. No prices were changed throughout the process. I added work to the list, and of course, I paid extra which was only fair. Pablo and Tony did most of the work. They were friendly, skilled, and highly professional with an amazing work ethic. Pablo is a terrific carpenter with an excellent eye and is very exacting. “"Our home contractor, Owings Brothers, purchased several polished brass Marvin door handles during a major home renovation several years ago. Over the past several days, the handle to the door off our driveway became inoperable to the point we were unable to lock it. I called Forbes Design Center to see if they could provide a "temporary fix" to the lock while we awaited a new part they would order from Marvin. To my wife's and my amazement, within two hours of me telling them this, the owner Doug Forbes showed up and was able to fix the lock after a few minutes using his toolkit to realign the lock. It now works just like new, so we will not need new parts. When we asked Doug what we owed him, he said "nothing!" Many say that quality service is dead in America today.
