I just moved to Connecticut from Florida and was in desperate need of a new accountant. My financial situation had changed because of a death in my family, and my accountant in Florida was not competent enough to be able to handle it any longer. I asked my financial advisor (who is actually located in New Hampshire), and he used his Edward Jones contacts in Connecticut to locate this firm and Mr. David Renouf specifically. He came highly recommended. He got back to me in a timely manner after an introduction, and I met with him shortly after. He was able to sort through all my paperwork and speak with my financial advisor to catch me up on what I owed and project for the future. He is extremely knowledgeable of Connecticut tax law and federal law and will do the very best for his clients. This was obvious. He doesn't bog you down with legalese but will explain anything you need to understand. He has like 6 computers in front of him (!) and is very up to date. I can finally rest easy now that I am in good hands when it comes to my financial situation. I highly recommend Mr. Renouf.

We had Evergreen remove 2 trees, grind the stumps, and add topsoil and seed. Watching Ken surgically take down a large Locust tree was amazing. And, the clean up afterward by the crew is commendable. We've had Evergreen do tree work before and have always been pleased with their work. Thank you to Ken, Vinny and the crew for excellent work. I was in a MVA Jan. 28, 2025. I went to a chiropractor and they really hurt me. I was lost, feeling hopeless. I decided to look into massage therapy at Sanctuary Massage. At first it was crazy hard to relax. Nancy (the owner) took me under her wing and worked with me for a couple of months, still going to her. Every time I go, I am treated according to my needs. She even takes me if she’s free the same day. I highly recommend her. She also has specials in pricing.

If I can recommend an optometrist, Dr Seth is it. From the moment I walked in the office ,the office staff to Dr Seth. They were all genuinely nice, very friendly.I was in for my yearly routine with new Dr. . Let me say never once have I ever met with any optometrist, who took the time to explain everything so clearly to me. I never felt rushed and was very comfortable. He did all the routine testing himself, explained everything as he was doing this. I was even shown imagines of inside of my eyes on one test. Honestly it was very interesting and I was very impressed. This was the 1st time I've experienced this. If your looking for an optometrist look no further. Highly recommended.

This is an amazing facility and complex to see along with the several memorial sites that are in front of the main complex building. They include the Mattie #9003 memorial site, dedicated to the first trained and deployed accelerant detection canine and the Connecticut Fallen Firefighters’ Memorial, in memory of those who made the supreme sacrifice. Both memorials are significant, and pay tribute to all human and animals, that have and do service to keep us safe. There are several parking spaces that are available just in front of the firefighters’ memorial. So, if you have a moment while passing by this location, stop and give thanks to the fallen. Thank you all for your service.
As with all service type businesses, it depends on with WHOM you trust for the service. When visiting Mane on Main, I trust my service with Donna. She has been actively a hairdresser for well over 20 years and has kept up with all the current styles and trends. She is listens and if necessary, asks questions along the way to make sure you are receiving what you are asking for. Her ethic is a long lost skill and she does not rush to get people out of the door as soon as possible.
I have been seeing Angela for my regular haircare needs for a few years now when I moved to CT. So when it came to time to find a hair stylist for my wedding, I could not have imagined anyone else. However, Angela not only met my expectations, but she exceeded them! She was reasonably priced, helpful, and truly worked with my vision, as well as the vision for my bridesmaids and my mom. I have been going to Bocasa for over 5 years now. I have gone to Fena the entire time and I rave about her. I have 5 girls and she handles my oldest 3 with so much professionalism and kindness. Fena is very meticulous with my nails and very seasoned. Fena treats us with such love we look at her like family. I have tried many nail salons and this is the only one that truly understood what I need and now my girls. I would follow fena anywhere.

I recently visited Turnpike Barber Shop and had an excellent experience! The haircut was fantastic and at a great price. It’s a cash-only place, which adds to its charm. The barbers are genuine people who engage in great conversation and spirited debate, making the visit enjoyable. We even talked about the classic film Nanook of the North, which was fascinating. I got my haircut before a wedding, and it looks amazing. Highly recommend!
five stars to Bobby for thawing a frozen pipe and in a follow up visit installing heating tape and insulation to fix problem once and for all! He answered all my questions and was respectful and good humored.
