“Dr. Manganiello is wonderful and extremely patient. I had a plugged oil gland on my lower eyelid that was bothering me (I had no idea what it was) and a friend recommended Dr. Manganiello at CT Eye Physicians & Surgeons. He explained (in simple terms) what was going on. I'll spare going into details of how he removed what looked like a teensy tiny whitehead in my eyelid, but it took a long time. Every step of the way, he'd check to make sure I wasn't experiencing pain. He gave me thorough care instructions. It's now a few weeks after this procedure, and I'm doing great. I highly recommend Dr. Manganiello and his excellent staff.“

They were all genuinely nice, very friendly.I was in for my yearly routine with new Dr. . Let me say never once have I ever met with any optometrist, who took the time to explain everything so clearly to me. I never felt rushed and was very comfortable. He did all the routine testing himself, explained everything as he was doing this. I was even shown imagines of inside of my eyes on one test. “Its memorial day weekend ( sunday) I was having a sudden eye issue so i went online googling emergency eyecare in ct after calling my regular eye dr whos office has no emergency care after hour care apparently. I came across advanced eyecare . I called and left a message explaining i was not a regualr patient and i was having this issue. Dr Matt called me back very quickly. We spoke about the issue and symptoms i was having. He told me what he thought was going on and called in some eyedrops to cvs. Dr Matt was so kind and caring. He even text me a few hours later to make sure i was able to pick up the medication. I am blown away by him and how helpful he was especially with me not being a regular patient to his office. I am so thankful for his help, great Dr. Its hard to come by such quality service these days.

“I went to get a new prescription and get a routine check up for my eyes because as an adult my vision has gotten worse and the last pair of glasses did not help whatsoever. Everyone in the office was so friendly and Dr.Levasseur was incredibly kind and thorough with the exam and he was really nice to talk to and have a conversation with during the exam most doctors are kind of stand offish to me because I’m covered in tattoos but he treated me like a person and listened to my concerns about my sight, my glasses came in less than a week after my appointment and I’m absolutely astounded at how well he got the perfect prescription for me, like I said the last pair I had from another doctor wasn’t correct so being able to actually see clearly for the first time in years has been amazing even though it’s been a day. I highly recommend this practice to anyone looking for a new optometrist!! Thank you guys again!!“
