Spend extra time explaining how mold spreads/works, and how it needs to be treated.Spent extra time writing out two estimates (one for the work as I requested, and one for the work he recommended). Was very professional and thorough with his explanation of the possible options. He’s been incredibly kind and understanding during multiple reschedulings. Quoted price was a few hundred dollars lower than lowest price from 3 competitors. Will update review after work is performed, but so far really impressed by Red Star Restoration.“

“Upon my initial call to Roto-Rooter, the dispatch attendant was very helpful, pleasant, and thorough. Josh, the service technician, came out promptly and within the window specified by Roto-Rooter dispatch. He was personable, professional, informative, and listened to all my concerns and solved my problem very quickly. Our entire main sewer line in the house was clogged. After showing Josh the 2 mainline sewer clean-outs, he further assessed the situation, and then proceeded to the exact spot that needed to be utilized to remedy the situation. He then cleared the blockage, cleaned up, and was on his way. I would highly recommend Josh and his Stratford, CT office and will call them/him again if needed.“

“We had a leak from our 43 year old HVAC system that took me awhile to notice. While there wasn’t inches of water, it was enough to soak a portion of the carpeting in my basement. I called Servpro and within a few hours, they had a remediation team at my door. Asim & Claudio vacuumed up the moisture, cut back carpeting, removed padding, and placed humidifiers and fans to dry up the rest. They returned again, this time it was Asim & Chelly, and they cut out some Sheet Rock and took out the remaining carpet, padding, and tackless. They disinfected the area and swept and vacuumed the area. They also placed a plastic barrier in my upstairs living area before pulling up the carpet on the stairs to help keep the dust down. Excellent job and now I am looking forward to working with the Construction crew. Expecting the same excellent service.“
