My dishwasher suddenly stopped filling with water (error code, no water entering the tub, total shutdown). I called Discotto Appliance, and Rich, the owner, came out himself the next day. This turned out to be one of those maddening, intermittent problems that didn’t reveal itself on the first visit. Rich spent well over an hour the first time testing pressure, valves, sensors, and wiring — everything checked out, yet the machine still refused to fill consistently. Instead of guessing or pushing an expensive part replacement, he was upfront: “I don’t want to throw money at it until we’re 100% sure.” He took extra time gathering data and even asked me to run a few cycles and text him exactly when/if it failed again.Sure enough, it acted up a second time.

Rich came back the same week, no extra trip charge, and this time the fault finally showed itself clearly: a faulty supply hose with an internal restriction that only blocked flow under certain conditions. He replaced it immediately with a heavy-duty reinforced hose, rerouted everything perfectly, and stayed until multiple full cycles ran flawlessly.Three visits total, zero attitude, zero upselling, and he only charged for the actual part and the final successful repair. Most companies would have charged diagnostic fees every trip or just told me to buy a new dishwasher. Rich stuck with it because he genuinely cares about doing the job right.
