Ellen is fantastic! My partner had his gallbladder removed the day prior to picking up his glasses. She was so caring and loving. I was so impressed that I booked an eye appointment. I strongly believe in supporting small businesses. I didn't feel like I walked into a retail location. I felt like I just entered her home and was so welcomed. I highly recommend and I'm not even done with my exam and eyeglasses.

I have purchased glasses at various locations in Greater Hartford for over 30 years, no place compares to Fedora. I discovered them because my Silhouette glasses broke on the day before Thanksgiving. I was desperate to get them fixed before the long weekend. I called several shops and no one could help. Long story short they repaired them for free even though I did not buy them here. I did get my next two pairs from here and was 100% satisfied both times. Just the other day my lenses were badly scratched in an accident and Fedora has come through for me again with excellent service, genuine care and compassion. I can not recommend this local shop highly enough. I am so grateful to Fedora and hope that you will also support this small business.

I cannot say enough about how pleased I was with my first ever visit today at Fedora Optical. I got my current pair of rimless glasses before moving here from out of state, and the bridge piece broke (not just the nose pad). I stopped in and called several opticians who all said I would have to purchase a whole new set (bridge and ear pieces at $200-300) AND they had to send my glasses out (2 weeks) to attach the new pieces because they were not capable of doing the actual replacement of parts on rimless glasses.
