“Our kitchen remodel was a family labor of love brought to fruition by our team from Lakeview Builders. The kitchen in our 100+ year old cottage was in need of refreshment.

After months of design and redesign of the agreed upon floor plan among the 4 senior sibling homeowners, it was time to find a team of contractors that we felt were well suited for our project. Upon reading reviews from others who had contracted with Lakeview, they became one of three from whom we sought estimates. A comfortable connection was established upon meeting with Bernie who drew up a very thorough estimate which helped us to know how our money would be used. Each family member carefully reviewed the estimate, submitted questions and received timely responses. The estimated cost, ability to meet our construction timeline, previous experience working with Kitchen Advantage (where we selected our cabinets) and responsiveness to questions along the way resulted in our selection of Lakeview Builders which proved a good choice for us.

From the start of the project to the finishing touches, we were pleased with the work of the various team members involved. All were very professional and respectful of our property. In most cases we knew whether or not we would have work done from day to day and if uncertain, I sent a text of inquiry and received my answer. Minor modification changes that we sought along the way were discussed and handled as requested.

Two family members and spouses were present throughout the remodel and two were not. Photos were exchanged throughout the less than 2 month process. Upon seeing the finished product for the first time, it was written, “The kitchen in person is even more spectacular than in photos. The wood floors are incredible. The shelves are decorated with tasteful old original trinkets. The lighting options are awesome. I appreciate the ceiling puck lights with dimmers, the two pendants over the island and the good looking sconce in the stairwell. The fresh staining has breathed life back into these antique walls. The shelving and trim work looks great!

The countertops are particularly outstanding and the ceiling and beams look original. I am overwhelmed how updated the space looks, but still has the integrity of a kitchen built in 1919.”
