“For over 20 years, I trekked to NYC to get keratin treatments for my curly hair. Initially, it was the Lasio treatment that kept me hooked on maintaining a frizz-free mane (W 4th street). Then, Lasio changed the formula and my hair was straight with zero volume. I sought something better and found the Coppola Keratin treatment, so I switched to that for some years.

Tired of going to NYC, I decided to look closer to home. I tried a few places in Greenwich/Stamford/Westport, but either the treatments were overpriced with mediocre results, or the person applying it was not thorough. For a keratin treatment to work, they must be fastidious.

Then I read reviews about Stacy at the Julia Emerald Salon in Greenwich and decided to try. Alleluia! Stacy is meticulous. She uses a smoothing treatment and I walk out with straight hair but I don't lose volume. Here's the bonus; every visit with Stacy feels like you’re meeting up with your best friend. In fact, everyone who works in the salon is kind beyond measure. Stacy is a total sweetheart with an interest in making your hair look great. Love her!“

“I just visited Fenix's Hair Salon and had an amazing haircut with the owner Alex. The space is well situated on on Railroad avenue in Greenwich CT and has such an intimate setting. Very clean and nicely set up, Alex is beautiful, warm and friendly and very adept in her craft. She's so very attentive and knows exactly how to make you feel at ease when giving suggestions as a stylist. I had a lovely experience and will be retuning on a regular basis.
