“My wife and I met Ben from Creative Enclosures at our friends' house during a proposal meeting for their addition. We were extremely impressed with the professionalism of the presentation and what was proposed to them. At that point, we decided to ask them to propose a four-season room addition for us. Ben met with us and showed us a beautiful design of an addition that would take the place of our existing deck. It was perfect and was just what we were looking for.

Our project is complete, and we couldn’t be happier with the end result. The room is gorgeous and is exactly how we envisioned it. Robin, the project coordinator and all the construction crew members were extremely professional, talented, very friendly and great to work with. In particular, construction crew members Joel, Tim and Chava were excellent craftsmen and took great pride in their work. They were always very neat, kept all of their work areas clean and even took steps to make sure our lawn was protected.

We were very nervous about hiring a contractor for this work since we’ve had many bad experiences in the past when hiring contractors. “I first met Jon Day in 2013, when he designed and fabricated screen windows for the Steel House at Connecticut College, a modernist gem from the 1930s. Jon immediately grasped the need to create low-maintenance screens that would be easy to handle and that would also be in keeping with the building’s unusual design. His solution was exquisite in its simplicity and also beautifully executed. He did not just care about the work; he was excited by the challenges it presented and eager to add value to the project.Since then we have turned to Jon and his crew time and again to work on personal projects: designing, fabricating and installing storm/screen windows at our old house in Stonington; restoring a 10-foot tall bay window at our current house in Mystic; coordinating the installation of a new roof in connection with repairing and replacing exterior trim; and installing new gutters in keeping with the historic character of this 1885 house. We have been uniformly happy with the process and the product. “Dave Tetlow and his crew and sub-contractors were a pleasure to work with. They coordinated well and got the work done with great attention to detail. Some of the excavation work was tricky because of limited space and it was a challenge tying the roofs of the existing buildings together. In both cases, the results came out extremely well. Dave was always available and he kept me well informed about all aspects of the progress. He interfaced very well with the electrical, plumbing, heating contractors and inspectors so that the phases of the construction were ready when their input was needed. Overall, the work was done very well and completely.“

“We recently contracted with Gene Ryone to do a complete demolition and remodeling of our small bathroom. Gene was truly unbelievable to work with from start to finish. Prompt in response, through in cost estimating (as much as a project of this type will allow ) and reliable. Walked us thru what to expect, start to finish. Arranged for plumber and electrical work. All other work was performed by Gene and his son. He is fully licensed and insured and provided documentation. Answered all of our questions before and durning the work project. Always listened to what we were thinking about the materials being selected and offered critical and much appreciated advice/insight and suggestions to consider. Throughout the project he kept us informed what work was accomplished that day and what work would be done the following day(s). We could not be happier with the total project outcome.If you are looking for only the "best/cheapest" price and care nothing about the project's outcome, do NOT select Ryone Home Improvements to do the work.
